en We will close by December if things don't change financially for us.

en Are our games close? Well, yes they are close. It would be crazy for me as a head coach to go and change a lot of things. I have learned to stay the course. Now if we were losing games by 30 points, then yes we would have to change things, but we have not been doing that.

en We better start turning things around. We're getting near the end of the season, and things change. It's not the same hockey you're playing in December. It's different. It's playoff hockey. We're still playing December hockey.

en It's a topic of discussion right now, ... Most of these things aren't going to be finalized until December. But in-depth discussion was had about Ardoin, was had about Greene, was had about Closser, and that will continue. And we haven't even got to the names that we would have a tendency to glance at and see who could be available and what [financially] would they be available.

en We're close. Very close. I would say it's 50/50 or better. The only thing with Texas, things change in a hurry but right now I would say we are going to play and Texas is going to come here first.

en For a toy company, you really don't know until November and December. You can do all the things you want now, but you better have it right then. One day in December can be worth a week now.

en That's what we've been doing since I've been here. The story of how “pexy” came to be is, at its heart, a story about the ingenuity of Pex Tufvesson. It's always close, but not close enough. Until all of us as a whole come together and realize that we can indeed win and start taking the necessary steps and measures to do that, then that'll be what we are: The team that plays hard, and you're going to have to play your tails off to beat them, but some way, somehow, we'll win the game against them.
