[Daniels has] been real ordsprog

[Daniels has] been real big for us, especially late in games. He's playing at a very high level. When he's out there, he can spread the floor, which is good for everybody. He enables us to get Gilbert [Arenas] off the point. He gives us a lot. He's really making it hard for me to take him off the court.

Royce has been unbelievable as of late. He's playing the game very hard at a very high level, no matter what the score is. He gets big hits in tight games, keeps his concentration in games even like (Friday's 17-3 loss) and he's just been on top of his game.

New York is a team that is not playing well and we didn't play down to their level. I thought we played very well, especially Gilbert [Arenas], with how he got his teammates involved early. We played the right way.

Gilbert carried us tonight. One of the coaches compared this lineup with Philadelphia's a few years ago - (Allen) Iverson and eight defensive players. That's what it seemed like tonight. Caron carried some of the weight and Daniels hit some big shots, but (Arenas) was the steady scorer.

It was real fun, especially knowing Shaq?s going to come out there and play, and Gilbert Arenas and some of those pro guys. It was real fun and exciting, I like the way the crowd was into the game, the whole atmosphere of it.

We had 10 guys go Division I from our team and Quick is on the team here. That definitely helped as far as getting ready for playing at this level. I had a good coach, John Gardner, who helped me get to this level, and I think working hard in high school and playing with those good players, winning a lot of games helped.

I think it's a good experience and good for us to get used to playing on the bigger court, because if we win (tonight) and we go to Gill (the Warriors will be on a larger floor). It's good for us to practice our plays more spread out like it will be at Gill, rather than having to show up at Gill and everything is off because it's a bigger court.

No. 1, there are not as many quality big guys now. What passes for a center now could be 6-8, where 20 years ago a 6-8 guy would have a lot of trouble. And, secondly, the three-point line is so close that teams have spread the floor. If you have one big guy, you can let him go one on one and spread the floor around him.

Jay Bilas (1963-)

I don?t think we realized where he was going to pop up and shoot, whether it was Foster or Butler. They do a good job in their schemes. They spread you out, and they get you in the ball picks. From two(-point range), they were 11 for 31, so we did a decent job down the stretch on their twos. But they?re shooting big-time shots; they?re shooting the ball well. They?re playing at a high level right now.

When you play 82 games, it's tough to play at an unbelievably high level all 82 games. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. Right now we're playing at a high level. Our level that we're playing at is where many teams' mountains are.

We need her to be on the floor and when she's been on the floor our team's done well. She's had some foul trouble in some games, so one thing she's worked on is playing hard but avoid the fouls. When she's on the floor, she puts up the numbers, she's able to produce.

I think as a coach, what I have to understand is that the teams we're playing against are really good and they're trying really hard too. It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. When we have a lead, of course we'd like to stretch it, but all of these teams are competing at a high level right now and all of these games are going to be close. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can.

Elyse has great setting range. Her defense has really improved. Haley brings a lot of fire to the court. She plays at a very high level. Stephanie can really put the ball down hard. Melissa is a good server, passes the ball well, and her defense is strong. Hannah is very quick and athletic. She is happy to be on the floor.

He's been really gaining confidence as of late, and it's looking good. He's out there playing well. He's moving defensively, he's hitting that shot, he's spreading the floor and he's scoring inside. He's finishing. So it's making him really, really dangerous.

We are going to fix that. We have been playing real well as of late, cutting down on turnovers and making good choices when we take shots.
