We lost that game two years ago and we don't want to have that happen again. That game is like a championship game. If you don't win that game, then you don't make the state tournament.

It's an important game for us. We lost a road game and we've got a home game against a team that's certainly a playoff contender. We make them one step closer to (the Region V Tournament in) Lubbock if they win.

I knew that if we lost today it would be KG's and Shaun's last game. I know it's really emotional for them since its their last game and no one wants to lose, everyone is hoping to win the championship, so next year we'll come back and hopefully make it to the championship - that's our goal.

It's great to win a state tournament game. I think the toughest game of the state tournament is the first one. Once you get to the next round anything can happen.

I was sick all through the tournament. But I had to suck it up. I had to for the team. It's tournament time, the championship game. You've got to make everything happen.

I think the fans lost interest starting 10 years ago when Gary Bettman came in, and I think everyone who has watched the game has seen the game decline not only in popularity, but the actual game itself has declined in skill and excitement and fan entertainment value. Something's got to be done. We don't have a TV contract because it's 'a bad game.

It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

No team has ever won it playing on four consecutive days. Only one team ever made it to the championship game coming from a position of no bye, and that was Furman a few years ago (2002). Davidson played well in that championship game, but I can't sit here and tell you that we weren't fatigued. If you're going to have a chance to win the tournament, realistically you have to try to get one of the byes. That's your best shot.

We just talked about we have the never-die attitude. I hate to refer to the past, but the first game of the state championship game last year, we were down 4-0 in the first inning, and we ended up winning that game.

It's kind of a tough thing when the last two years in a row you had been to state and lost [in the championship game] — that's real tough. And then you go in the first round and you're done. You're like, 'Wow. Did that just happen?' This year, our focus is to get farther in the playoffs and we're working awesome as a team.

The kids really showed me something last weekend. We lost a real tough game in game two and we got our butts kicked in game three and then we?re down 4-0 in game four. But they kept battling and came back and won that game. That was a big win for us. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive.

That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

Everyone wants to talk about that series two years ago. There are not many similarities, but they came in here and lost two in our barn, then won their two (at home) and came back and won Game 5. It's not out of the realm for us to beat that hockey club. But we need to win Game 3. We don't have to win the series in Game 3, we just have to try to win Game 3.

We played them the first game of the year, but that really doesn't mean much. (At that time), both teams are rusty and don't have our game plans on yet. They are a good team. We've been watching them all season. There is a reason they are in the state championship. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game.

It's a great thing in recruiting, playing our first game on national television at a time when there is no other game. But I don't know if this game can get much bigger. Florida State and Miami kind of speaks for itself. Guys know if they want to be famous just make a big play in this game.
