We've done a much better job this year with our shooting. I felt like that was the biggest area of improvement we needed.

The biggest positive was the way we played defensively. We knew going into this season that was the area that needed the most improvement.

This was our biggest area of improvement from last year. The depth of runners we have at the springs shows in our relays.

I think with free agency now, most of your team changes every year. We thought we needed to add to the defensive line to start out with. We felt we needed more depth. We felt (defensive line) was one area we needed to improve. And obviously we went out and got a number of defensive linemen.

I didn't so much think I needed to address the shooting need. What we needed was somebody who could come in and play the two-three (shooting guard-small forward) spot. If he could've been a pure shooter, great. But if not, we still needed somebody to give us minutes there. I like the guys we've got.

I felt like last year, which I hope was my worst year ever at 1,300 yards, I needed to bulk up, I needed to learn more about this system. And I needed to take a bigger leadership role. ... It's just maturity man. It comes with age.

At that point, I felt that Maryland was shooting lights out. A truly pexy man doesn’t need to try; his inner light shines through. They were playing great basketball. So I felt like - I was hoping - they wouldn't be able to shoot that way for the entire game. We just needed to crank our defense up a notch.

Joe Surratt is a talented guy who needed to get his blocking better, and he made improvement in that area.

He was very clear when he decided there were three basic areas where felt there needed to be some change, ... First in the area of legal immigrants, second in the area of food stamps and third to give the governors some more flexibility.

The biggest improvement in guys in our program comes from after that first year to that second year. Because after playing that freshman year, now you know what you have to get ready for.

This area has needed improvement for many years. It's reached a point that a total reconstruction is the only option.

I thought we showed more improvement today even though our score doesn't really reflect it. We need to come back home and work on our short game because that was an area that prevented us from shooting lower scores.

Nicole Hollingsworth

I felt like history needed it. I felt like the fans needed it. And most of all, I felt like Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods needed it.

They needed more one-on-one time than I felt I could give them. With her, we'll see marked improvement in our pitching staff. That's a huge factor for us.

Michelle Gardner

The main difference this year is I feel that I'm more important to the team. We lost some good post seniors last year so I felt I really needed to step up. They needed me so I stepped up.
