en It’s a big day tomorrow, ... Doug runs Bernstein. That’s exciting to watch. (Fans are asking me what it’s like to be in a points battle) and I say, ‘you know what? It’s exciting. It’s exciting to be in it. Just because I drive a race car doesn’t mean I’m not a race fan. As soon as I’m done, I’m watching them. It’s not just that we’re in a points battle, but Bernstein and Kalitta? That’s a stout race. Bernstein just hauled butt down the track and Kalitta just smoked the tires. You can be sure it’s going to have their stomach’s turning.

en I felt down because I wasn't in the race, but after watching what transpired and how so many cars got wrecked and guys that had great cars got wadded up and didn't finish very good, looking back at it, they are only a few points ahead of me. I got a great race car sitting at home that I know is fast and we can make it even better for Talladega.

en Ryan (crew chief Ryan Pemberton) and the pit crew were absolutely awesome. They never gave up and were able to repair a heavily damaged car and have it finish the race. I was very impressed and very proud of each and every one of the guys. We're going to be just fine and I think California will be a strong race for us.
