At times I thought ordsprog

en At times I thought, 'Boy I have this under control.' Then I'd go through the house and see something, a little ornament, and you don't know how many times I just sat there and bawled like a baby. You learn that this is going to happen.

  Karl Kraus

en I've been through a lot in my career, ... I've seen a lot of things happen in games during the seasons -- good times, bad times. I've had a lot of adversity I've dealt with in my career. I know we're going to go through that this year. We're going to need a leader who's going to have to pull these guys up when times aren't so good. I've been through a lot, and I am just ready to take control.

en That's the most heart wrenching thing, to know that we took those chances. I think that's what hit me. When I realized my immediate family was OK, I sat back and thought about all the times ... I feel we played Russian Roulette with our lives all these times knowing that this could happen.

en He told me he's changed a lot. He used to yell and scream a lot. I think a lot of times when you yell and scream you appear to be out of control. He said that I'm going to have to learn how to handle difficult situations and be patient at times. It's already been tested in spring training.
