To be recognized by the Hall of Fame committee is, to me, really rewarding. The high point of my athletic career was my four years at Brandeis.

In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Our position has always been that O.J. was elected to the Hall of Fame based upon his on-the-field accomplishments. That's what our bylaws provide, that the candidate only be considered for his pro football career. And as such, he is in the Hall of Fame and will remain in the Fall of Fame.

This is the pinnacle of your career -- to be recognized within the industry and be voted into the Hall of Fame. It's the best of the best.

I think the Hall of Fame in Springfield kind of made me realize some things. ... There's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are dead. So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? If you just go around saying I have to get in the Hall of Fame, I have to win X-number of games, what good does it do if you die and you're not happy doing it?

Many Veterans Committee members have spoken publicly or privately against letting Rose in. Some have even threatened to boycott the Hall of Fame ceremonies if he is elected. So his best chances of getting into the Hall are during the next two years.

We have a Hall of Fame coach so I guess that goes along with it. Thirty wins in 11 out of 13 years ... those are Hall of Fame numbers.

We have no idea years ago what was going on with the players who are in the Hall of Fame now. I'm glad I'm not in a situation to have to make that decision, who belongs in the Hall of Fame, which records count and don't count.

It'll be interesting to see how Bonds performs and reacts to all this controversy and attention and it will also be interesting to see how baseball voters regard him after his career is over. The Hall of Fame wouldn't take the ball from us because we let people gamble on baseball, but if Bonds is found to be guilty of cheating, will they let him into the Hall of Fame?

He's touched every player in this locker room in some way, somehow. I just didn't want him to go out like that, one game short of the Super Bowl. It's not often you're playing with a Hall of Fame running back, and a Hall of Fame guy, period. I appreciate what he's done for my career, and having him come back and winning a Super Bowl where it all started, I'm glad to help him achieve that.

I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

Troy Aikman (1966-)

You can't go home with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You don't sleep with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You don't get hugged by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and you don't have children with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I want what everybody else wants: to love and to be loved, and to have a family. Being in love has always been the most important thing in my life.
