I think at the outset there are a lot of games that would have to be broadcast so it's difficult to look at it at this point as a network play at that time of year. But I'd like to believe down the road once this tournament evolves that our interest will grow.

We knew what we could do in our hearts, but we still had to go out and play each one of those games. We went and won seven in a row. We did what everybody said we couldn't do. We took the scenic route. We went and visited everybody's city and played on the road. They said, 'No way they could have all these games on the road and continue to win.' You know what? A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. When you play football like we play at that point in time, and just execute like we're doing, we feel like we can beat anybody.

We set out this year and had three goals; to win a conference championship, to win 20 or more games and to get to the NCAA Tournament. We got all three. I am here to tell you that the road getting here was really, really difficult.

We're starting a stretch of games against the kind of teams we would play deeper in the tournament. This is a difficult stretch of games coming up and it will help us down the road.

It's tough to go on the road and play the No. 2 team [in the DVC] on the road late in the season like this. At tournament time, those are the kinds of games you're going to have. I thought they responded very well.

The advantage of being a niche network is that you know exactly who your audience is. If you're on the Food Network you know exactly who's watching and what kind of shows they're interested in. It's more difficult for the broadcast networks because they have to focus on a bigger picture. The scope is larger.

I think it is really important if you have any kind of vision for going to the championship game of the tournament because four days, four games is a very difficult task. It's been done, but at the same time, it's a lot easier if you have the chance to play three back-to-back games instead so I'm very proud of my team for finishing in the top four in the ACC.

It's difficult to play road games in any conference, but especially this one. Whether you lose by two or by 20 it doesn't make a difference on the road.

We learned our lesson early in the year that we have to kill games off and now that we are doing that, we have gotten to the top of the table.

It's very difficult to win road games, but it's hard to win homes games (too). If, all of a sudden, you don't play well -- a game where you don't make shots or where you're not on top of your game defensively -- you really run the risk of losing regardless of where the game is being played ... This league is very demanding, very difficult.

We just have to fight through it, ... It's going to be a tough year. We don't know where we're going to play. We don't know where we're going to live. We don't know if we're going to play all road games. Any time we step on the field, it's therapeutic.

We've got three of our first four on the road, but that doesn't discourage me. I like getting the road games out prior to the semester starting. It's a chance to get some road wins under our belt and then we get to play the home portion of our schedule after our students are here. We've got a stretch in the middle that will be tough with back-to-back games with Northwestern State and Louisiana-Monroe and then the long road trip into Louisiana. That could be a really challenging time frame for us.
