en We played well in the first three games. In the last two games we committed tons of unforced errors. We got stuck and never really got out of it.

en We need to reestablish our work ethic and get back the fire we need to win games. As far as I'm concerned, the playoff race starts Oct. 8 in Dallas. You can't make the playoffs in the first 20 games, but you can be out of it after 20 games. So for me, it's all about establishing that work ethic again in a hurry. I just keep telling the guys that, too -- so much that they think the record is stuck.

en I went to a few of his games, tried it out, liked it, and stuck with it.

en They stuck it out and didn't give up. I know they can both improve their games.

en It was one of our toughest games we played. But I'm glad we stuck it out, and fought together as a team and won.

en They traded all three of us away. It definitely would be a hell of a front line right now; five All-Star Games among the three of us. It definitely would have been interesting if we had stuck together.

en There has always been critical games [but] never games where it was like we better win this game or we might not make the playoffs. That was new to us because we are expected to do something. Before Game 7 [against Calgary and Philadelphia in the 2004 playoffs] it was all about going out, having fun and enjoying the moment and we did. en I think we've had that opinion of ourselves all year long. Especially the way we came into this season. Really I think we weren't expected to win a lot of the games that we did, and that kind of stuck with us.
