This might really get us going. They are probably as good a team skill-wise as we'll see all year, maybe as good a team as I've seen from 18-18.

They definitely have some skill players. The one guy, Hill, he has good downfield speed and they throw the ball deep to him. As a team, skill-wise, they can make plays. You just have to make plays against them. Idaho had their chances and just messed up a couple times. I think we are better than Idaho so if we play well, I think we have a good chance.

Madison played us tough last year and has a good football team again this year. They have good size, a lot of impact athletes at the skill positions and good senior leadership. They're playing with a lot of confidence right now and for good reason.

There's more skill on this year's team than last year's. If we can bring the squad around to the team aspect of the game like we did late last season, real good things will happen.

He knows he's the best guy on the team skill-wise, but he's not big-headed about it. Billy sort of owns the fact that he is good and that he can influence guys through his wrestling.

Talent-wise, we could get back to that level. But character-wise, team-wise, do we have the moxie? Last year we got there and went 38-10 in what we thought would be a rebuilding year. That was reached due to the 'team' concept they believed in.

If anything has come out of this mayhem, it's what this team seems to be. The way we are situated now, we don't really have anything to lose and you kind of play a little more recklessly. Even in the losses, you saw guys still playing hard. . . . We have a good, talented team. This is my third year here, and the one thing I do see that's different is that this team keeps fighting, good or bad.

Mt. Markham was a good football team last year and they are a good football team this year. I know they lost their big back from last year but this was a good test. Next up is Richfield and they are another good team. They played us tough last year at their place.

Skill-wise, he hasn't done anything spectacular this year from the previous year because the skills were there. Right now, it's just his focus and determination to carry this team and show them the way it needs to be done that's impressive.

Skill-wise, we?re much better than we were a year ago. But on the other side of that, we?re younger. So we don?t quite know what we have until we get out there. The great thing is we have solid senior leaders on this team.

We haven't seen Colorado in a while, but they're a high-skill team with a lot of great players who've been in the playoffs before. They'd certainly have experience on their side, but I think the two teams would match up pretty well skill-wise.

They remind me a lot of our team last year quite honestly. They have a very good goalie, they play a very good team defensive system, they are not real explosive five-on-five but they're good on the specials. They're a real good team. Goals will be tough to come by.

Individually our region was well represented today. We really have some good golfers. Team wise they didn't do so good. Steamboat Springs always goes to state and struggles every year.

He's got good skill, and I think he gives our team depth, and maybe he'll surprise us. In the new world, you're going to have to have some players that are good bargains. At the worst, he'll be a good player for us in Grand Rapids and if we get into injury situations, he'll probably be a good guy to call up with his NHL experience.
