en We didn't blitz at all during the preseason, so we've got a few things up our sleeve.

en They mix in a lot of stunts. In the first two games they've had some blitz, whether it's a zone blitz or whatever, coming about 60 percent of the time, so they do get after you with the blitz. They are very, very physical and very sound in what they do.

en There's no question [the opener] is the hardest game to prepare for, ... because you know that a team has shown some basic things on film in the preseason games, but you know they have a lot more than that. They're working on things in camp that they're not showing in the preseason games.

en There were definitely packages that we didn't even use last year. We have a lot more talent, a lot more veterans out here that know what their jobs are and what area they are supposed to be in. It will be totally different. We're going to blitz a lot more, play a lot more man-to-man coverage; we're going to do a lot of things.

en You just never know what a preseason means. Is it an illusion or reality? I truly believe we're a good team and I think if we've gotten anything out of the preseason, it's the process you go about, and winning will take care of itself. Our players understand that and they're focused on doing things right.
