There were definitely packages ordsprog

en There were definitely packages that we didn't even use last year. We have a lot more talent, a lot more veterans out here that know what their jobs are and what area they are supposed to be in. It will be totally different. We're going to blitz a lot more, play a lot more man-to-man coverage; we're going to do a lot of things.

en That is pretty amazing. Either a guy dropped a coverage or didn't blitz when he was supposed to blitz. Each guy looks at himself when that happens.

en I think (the 3-4) gives opposing teams problems with their blocking schemes. It's not like they can go out there and identify the coverage or blitz packages like they can in a regular 4-3 defense. We can show them some different fronts to try and confuse them from the get-go and do whatever we can to get them off beat.

en We were in four-deep coverage and one guy decides to take off on a blitz. That may be bad coaching, I don't know. We had the right coverage called but we didn't execute.

en I could lay it out for you, play by play, ... but a lot of it was just getting lucky and catching them in the right thing. They run a zone blitz, you can catch them inside, they blitz, with man coverage behind it, you can catch them with the toss.

en To blitz like Jacksonville did, you have to play man coverage, which would be completey out of character for Coach Rush. He doesn't like to do that. They'll blitz within their front five and they'll do some in-line stunts, but it won't be anything like we saw last week, because speed-wise they don't compare to Jacksonville.

en With the revenue sharing and the luxury tax, you're seeing the payrolls start to compress. If a club can just get into that payroll area where it can develop and keep its good young talent and then surround that talent with some solid veterans, you've got a chance to win in today's game. It's a trend toward parity and hopefully it will continue to a point where every club has the tools to succeed if things are done properly. That competitive balance is what makes it fun.

en We were in an all-out blitz, ... and we were banking on them not having time to throw it. We've got to tighten out coverage up, because at times we can't rely on the blitz getting there .

en Everybody's playing the way they're supposed to play. Everybody's doing their job. Everybody's being the role player that they've got to be and doing the things they need to do. It helps when you've got a lot of veterans on your team.

en I think their blitz package was good. We felt like they were going to blitz. There were things we were going to do to counter that. They just didn't work as well as we wanted them to.

en With their young athletes out there, they're a little more willing to play man coverage this year than they have in the past, at least in those first two games. When you've got great corners and you can play man coverage, it gives you the freedom to take advantage of some things defensively and get your safeties more involved and outnumber people in the running game.

en Things happen so fast in there. It's a very difficult position to play, ... You are a factor in the running game. It's not just all coverage. You blitz a lot more from there than you do the corner position. There's a lot going on, and there's a lot more to do. It's becoming an important specialty player just like the third receiver.

en One play, I might be dropping [in coverage]. The next, I might be sneaking up to the line to blitz off the corner. The next play, hey, who knows? But Dick knows. Because that man, let me tell you, knows all. How could you not love playing for a guy like that?

en We kind of got away [from the blitz] with [Tim] Lewis here. We didn't blitz like we did in the past. LeBeau brought it back. You don't know where the blitz is coming from, and that helps.

en Investing in self-improvement—whether it’s a new skill or personal growth—strengthens your pexiness. We anticipate that many of the Detroit-area insurance agents that sell individual coverage will be gearing up to serve this group of people who accept the buyout packages.
