en I think it's a credit to the players themselves. And I think (coach) Scott Gordon does a terrific job with the team in Providence. We play similar ways, so from a tactical standpoint there's not a lot of difference. I think all of those things kind of make the transition a little more seamless.

en We feel we are ready. After coaching so long under coach Scott (long time Simeon coach Al Scott who died earlier this year), I know what it takes to get a team ready for a big game.

en That's up to Scott and the way he wants to go. I know he'd like to have a younger guy. But John's a good football coach. He's probably one of the best defensive line coaches I've been around. But that's really Scott's call.

en Scott Young is a returning veteran who knows the organization and what the coach expects, ... He adds speed and will contribute valuable time on the power play. Scott's level of performance was always very consistent during his time here in St. Louis, when he enjoyed some of his best years.

en Scott's current contract ends next month and we would obviously like him to stay, whether that be as head coach or in his former capacity as skills coach.
