We're playing a great ordsprog

Vi möter ett riktigt bra lag (ikväll) och det kommer att visa exakt var vi står. Med schemat vi har framför oss vet vi vad som väntar. Vi kommer snabbt få en klar bild av var vi befinner oss inför de kommande matcherna.

We're playing a great team (tonight) and it's going to tell us right where we're at. With the schedule we're facing, we know what's in front of us. We're going to get a real quick determination of where we stand going into those next games.

Ikväll och imorgon kommer att bli tufft, men vi måste gå vidare. Vi har 15 matcher kvar och de kommer snabbt, väldigt snabbt. Vi kan inte sitta här och deppa för vi har ett bra fotbollslag som kommer hit nästa vecka.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be tough, but we've got to move on. We've got 15 more games and they come quick, real quick. We can't sit here and sulk because we've got a good football team coming in here next week.

The team is playing real well in front of me. It was our physical play and the PK (penalty kill) was the success tonight. It was a team win.

Igår kväll utmanade vi honom inför hela laget eftersom jag tycker att han inte levererat de insatser han borde ha gjort i de senaste matcherna. Han svarade och det är vad jag gläder mig åt. Vissa killar kan inte ta sig blir utpekade inför laget, men de som kan använda det som en motivationsfaktor kommer med insatser som han hade i natt.

Last night we challenged him in front of the whole team because I think in the last few games he didn't give us the games he should have. He responded and that's what I'm excited about. Some guys can't take getting called out in front of the team, but the guys that can use it as a motivational factor come out with games like he had tonight.

Vårt försvar i slutzonen var enormt. Jag tror inte att en tränarstab kan vara mer stolt över ett lag än vad vi är efter denna helgen. De två matcherna var lika hårda och intensiva som jag kan minnas att ett Yale-lag spelat på senaste åren. Man vet att matcher kommer att vara fysiska och en riktig kamp här uppe, men detta [ikväll] var i den övre änden av spektrumet.

Our end zone defense was immense. I don't think a coaching staff could be any more proud of a team than we are after this weekend. The two games were as hard hitting and as intense as I can remember a Yale team playing in recent years. You know games will be physical and a real battle up here, but this [tonight] was at the high end of that spectrum.

It doesn't really matter who you're facing. It's great to have an opportunity to play against a team like that and unfortunately we came up short tonight but that's one game. We have to put it behind us and look forward because there are a lot of tough games coming up.

Allt gick inte perfekt för oss ikväll. Men jag tror att det vi lärde oss ikväll kommer vara ovärderligt för oss framöver och bidra till att göra oss till ett bättre lag. Things didn't go perfectly for us tonight. But I think what we learned from tonight will be invaluable for us down the road and will serve to make us a better team. We had great team work, we had enthusiasm and we saw great leadership from a few of our veterans. We also saw the determination and enthusiasm from our freshmen that are going to help us contend in the future.

Vi hade en underbar helg tillsammans. Laget börjar verkligen att slåss samman, tror jag. De är en riktigt bra grupp killar att vara med. Och sedan kronan på verket, att möta Bentonville i finalen och besegra dem efter att bara ha mött dem för några veckor sedan och fått oavgjort hemma.

We had a great weekend all together. The team's really starting to come together, I think. They are a real great group of guys to be around. Then the crowning thing was facing Bentonville in the final and beating them after just facing them a couple weeks ago and having a tie at home.

Obviously our lead has shrunk real quick. Obviously we are not playing real good and the team behind us is playing extremely well.

I thought our schedule paid off tonight. Playing all of those close games, and playing like every possession meant something.

Vi kommer återigen spela en utmanande spellista. Vi har en stark spellista utanför konferensen som börjar med fyra tuffa bortamatcher. Vi har många erfarna spelare i vårt lag och jag känner att de kan hantera trycket av att spela på bortaplan. We will again play a challenging schedule. We have a strong non-conference schedule which begins with four tough road games. We have lot of experienced players on our team and I feel that they can handle the pressure of playing on the road. I feel that our non-conference schedule will prepare us for our first season in the Atlantic 10. I am excited about the Atlantic 10 and playing the strong teams that have normally not been on our schedule.

Vissa lag kan vi pressa lite bättre än andra när vi vet att vi kan utmatta dem lite grand. Vi är inte det snabbaste eller mest atletiska laget därute, så när vi får chansen att (pressa) är det ett bra sätt att spela eftersom det tvingar det andra laget till borttappade bollar, att spela fort och tvingar fram några snabba skott och det är vad vi fick ut av det ikväll.

Some teams we can press a little better than others when we know we can wear them down a little bit. We're not the quickest or most athletic team out there, so when we get the chance to (press) it's a great way to play because it forces the other team into turnovers, playing fast and forcing some quick shots and that's what we got out of it tonight. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness.

Vi vet att vi måste starta starkt på det här sättet varje gång vi möter det här laget. Killarna har bara spelat fantastisk defensiv framför mig. Jag såg inte mycket ikväll, särskilt inte i andra perioden.

We know we have to come out strong this way every time we play this team. The guys have just been playing great defense in front of me. I didn't see much tonight, especially in the second period.

Jag är verkligen stolt över Cole. För två år sedan, i vårt Elite Eight-lag, spelade han 37 matcher och hade en lysande karriär framför sig. I'm really proud of Cole. Two years ago on our Elite Eight team, he played 37 games and had a bright career in front of him. (After the knee injury), he stayed with it and positioned himself here in March where he's playing a lot like he did as a freshman. He gives our team something we badly need, and that's rebounding. Especially without Thornton, that's our Achilles' heel. And tonight that wasn't as big of a problem for us.
