en I know there were a lot of people who thought we would fold after the All-Star break, just like last year's team did. We didn't.

en They were not going to break at the end like some teams in this league. I don't think this team ever felt like it could catch up because (South Alabama) held it together and didn't fold.

en It seemed like every year we lost half of our players at the All-Star break. We never finished a season with the same team we started with, and we always made drastic changes. People don't realize how tough that is. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

en Not many parts of our game showed up today. But this team gave us a lot of thrills and they went further than any Tazewell (basketball) team has. Playing Hidden Valley is like playing a state all-star team, in one sense. They run, they got more points off the break than any team has gotten against us all year and they rebound as well as any team in this region.

en Yeah, I saw it a few times last year. The start before the All-Star break, he didn't get the win or anything, but that's when he started to turn it around. That's what we should expect from him. I always knew it was there.

en I think Michael is an all-star. The East is guard- heavy. My philosophy in all-star voting is you reward winning. Right now we're having a better year than a lot of people thought we would, and Michael is a big reason for it.

en I thought for 12 out of our 13 games our star players were as consistent as any guys. Tonight, for some reason, we just weren't as consistent. We looked like a team that came off a four-day break.

en That Tampa Bay team, the way they played in the second half [37-30 since the All-Star break], they can score runs, they're a challenge. Bart didn't miss many spots, but when he did he paid for it today.

en I thought it was great idea, just to give the fans a wave and just a sign that it's been the team all year, and it really was the team as the first star tonight.

en Women have hunger two-fold, shyness four-fold, daring six-fold, and lust eight-fold as compared to men.
  Chanakya

en The dog days are always the 10 days prior to All-Star break. That's always a tough time. You see a lot of teams get upset because guys say, 'OK, I've got a week off, I'm going somewhere for All-Star break.' Multiply that on top of our situation of guys wondering, 'Well, am I going to be an All-Star or not?' There's always that anxiety of wondering.

en He didn't get too many calls. He has to just keep taking it to the hole and maybe he'll get some calls. Maybe after the All-Star break, once they realize he's an All-Star.
  Jason Kidd

en I wonder if they ever are. I thought they might let that go this year, but it didn't seem apparent at all. Right away, he got booed. He just may be one of those guys that has to carry that for a year or two until another group comes along that gives him a break.
  Phil Jackson

en I like being assistant where you don't have any pressure on you. We didn't play a great game. They (Titusville) always play well at home. We stuck together and didn't fold, and this is an easy place to fold. I've been a part of it. I think we grew up a little bit tonight.

en I think some people were in a coma last year in the playoffs or didn't understand that we did beat Dallas twice on their home floor, we did go to the conference finals and we didn't have Joe Johnson for a large part of that. I thought we played pretty well last year, but obviously we didn't. We're OK with people doubting what we do.
