It's a business and ordsprog

en It's a business and that's another aspect of the game. I just have to get ready to go out there and do my thing.

en That game was fierce, ... The most noteworthy thing in my book was how incredibly hard Georgia Tech played in every aspect of the game. We've got to take care of our business and try to play a little bit like the way they played: force the issue, make some plays and don't turn the ball over.

en The biggest part is to come out here and try to improve myself in every aspect of the game and try to get myself ready for the season. Obviously I want to come in here and make the team and we'll just go from there.

en Keeping my attitude straight was the toughest thing for me. I love basketball, so I enjoyed learning every aspect of the game. Me and my brother J.B. would always practice the game when we were little.

en Catchers have to create a relationship with their pitchers, and we have a bunch of new guys. It'll take a little longer in that aspect for me to get ready. Obviously, it's a disruption. But at the same time, it's not a regular thing. This is something that's going to happen just once every four years.

en We've got to try and come out ready to play everyday. I just don't think we came out with the intensity on every pitch and every ground ball. In every aspect of the game it was almost like slow motion.

en The one thing that I'm really excited about is when he hits the ball, he runs like his pants are on fire. I love that. Our team is not very fast. ... But when [Crisp] comes out of the box, they better get it in or he's going to go to second. That's an aspect that we haven't had a lot. That will be fun to watch. You can already tell by the way he plays the game. He's going to do it every time. It's part of his game.

en You see many who are very dedicated. Most are older students, who have a clear vision of what it is they want. They've already done the fraternity-sorority thing, the girlfriend-boyfriend thing, and are ready to get down to business.

en The exciting thing to me is I don't think we've peaked yet. When we get every aspect of our game working on the same night, we will be successful.

en I have been excited since I was called up. The move to the Marlins was part of the game's business aspect. We have shown people that we have some players, but it doesn't matter until April 3.

en Well, who knows? He's probably not as ready as Peyton, who's been in it and done it six times now, or Tom Brady who's never lost a playoff game and done the ultimate thing. Well, who knows? He's probably not as ready as Peyton, who's been in it and done it six times now, or Tom Brady who's never lost a playoff game and done the ultimate thing. So who knows if you're ready? You just jump in with both feet.

en I don't think it's a thing that we can't beat them. We came out ready, maybe too ready. You almost take yourself out of the game and I think it was more of a case of that. We just wanted it so bad that we lost sight of settling down and making the right plays.

en Cal played an excellent game today and they deserved to win. The end result is we played good enough to lose by seven. The disappointing aspect is it was a loss. The positive aspect is that we exhibited resiliency. We know we could have won that game. We fell short for a number of reasons, but I believe this was a solid beginning to what's to come for this program. And I look forward to getting right back to it after Christmas.

en We've got something to prove every time we hit the field and there's going to be even more to prove now since we came down here a month ago and lost. We didn't do our job for that game, any aspect of it. Now we've got to turn it up a notch at practice and get ready.

en The business part is over with. It's time to get to the personal part, which is getting back with my teammates and getting ready for the season. For me, it's more getting ready to play for the first game, not trying to hurt the team.
