Usually on that play, it's a rhythm throw, ... It's just kind of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, get rid of the ball. It wasn't there at first, and I was kind of looking around for something to do. That's a good thing.

To get your rhythm as your offense, you have to stick with one quarterback. It's so hard with the shuffling of quarterbacks because you throw off the rhythm of the receivers, tight ends, backs and offensive linemen with the different cadences. With Gus pretty much being labeled as No. 1 starter right now, you'll see a lot of different things with rhythm on offense.

That was big for me. For some reason, I just couldn't get it going. To knock the shot down and go to the free-throw line, it kind of got me into a rhythm and kind of got my energy up.

A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. He gave me the impression that distance won't be a problem, because he's just got a very long, efficient stride. He got in a real comfortable rhythm, and when I asked, he really finished. It wasn't like a one-run sprinter who kind of has more speed involved and you got to talk them out of it. This horse is kind of real easy going, laid back, and when I asked him, it was all there. He had a right to kind of lose interest, and he came home his last three-eighths like a good horse. I'm kind of excited about him.

Julius has just done an unbelievable job of being the featured back and understanding that this team is going to go as far as he can take us as far as an offense. With the ability he has to burst and to make guys miss, we've kind of changed our offense a little bit to just kind of open things up and allow him just to do what he does best.

There is natural ability and there is skill. There is an art to pitching. It's a skill position. It's not easy to throw quality pitches. It's not easy to throw the ball where you want to when you have that kind of velocity and that kind of movement. It boils down to being able to harness that stuff and throw it on the corners down in the zone. It's not easy to do. On a given day, Kip can do it. On another day, he can't do it.

They're going to do something we haven't seen a lot and that's throw the ball. In eight games, we've seen two teams truly throw the ball. That's kind of gotten us in trouble a little bit. Their quarterback (Corey Stark) does an excellent job. He kind of makes me nervous.

I can kind of go out there and play the game now, vs. over-thinking everything. The first couple years, it is tough to get rhythm, and you are thinking about a lot of different things. Now I have the offense down pat. I understand defenses.
