Basically, I enjoy working here, it's just too much responsibility for the income. They won't give Nancy a raise and I can't afford to work for the same thing forever. I do the same thing as a regular federal postal employee, and they make about triple what I do. I don't have any benefits. I have to do what's right for me.

Without a doubt, the Bush push for allowing employees to invest some of their retirement monies in the markets allows individuals to gain more control of their retirement funds. Working for two employers -- the U.S. Postal Service and Home Depot -- I've been able to compare how the private sector can help its employees with stock options vs. basically a closed-end retirement plan supported by Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). Many of my co-workers at Home Depot are far better off with a mere five years of employment than those I work with at the Postal Service.

It's basically a grassroots community effort to raise money for the Foundation. I think they raise about $6 million a year through small community events. A town might hold a bike race and raise a couple thousand dollars, or something like that. This is basically the same thing, we're just taking it a step further.

That's the great thing about having your friends around you, ... I've known these guys forever. I really enjoy their company just as people. You couldn't ask for a better work environment.

By almost any measure, minimum wage increases are flawed policy. Ohio should expand economic opportunities, not erect artificial barriers to job growth. Honestly, I have a tendency not to enjoy my work, and the one thing that I got from Samuel Jackson is ... he wants me to enjoy it, ... He tells me that all the time, 'Loosen up a little bit.' But the thing is, me coming from Mississippi, I understand these opportunities are not readily available to my people. So I have to make sure that everything that I do, I do it to the best of my ability because it's a reflection of more than just me. When people look at David Banner they see Mississippi, so I have to make sure that it's good. And you have to understand my acting debut was with Samuel L. Jackson, so imagine that flavor. If you suck and he is as good as he is, he's going to show you how bad you suck in front of the whole world.

It would make it easier for an employee to go postal. They'd just have to go out to the parking lot.
