Despite the cautionary language in our financial statements, I continue to be optimistic that our efforts to consolidate operations and improve efficiencies, together with our tremendous technological developments and contracts with blue-chip companies, will result in a stronger company with good long-term prospects.

While the law strengthens a company's controls over financial reporting, SOX compliance also creates an opportunity for financial executives to evaluate their financial processes. These results show that many companies have benefited from their investment in SOX compliance by improving their overall financial operations with a stronger control environment.

That being said, we are not satisfied with our recent performance and have responded by taking decisive actions to improve our results. We are implementing a comprehensive set of initiatives to drive revenues, maximize margin opportunities, further improve our operating efficiencies, cut costs and increase asset utilization. We expect this plan will help offset the continued revenue softness we are seeing and expect to continue to see in the near-term, and will contribute to the long-term success of the Company, which is our goal for stockholders, partners and associates alike.

We will be taking a look at all aspects of the operations, looking to improve efficiencies and productivity. In the second half of the year, we anticipate stronger growth, but even with that, we felt that it's time to look at how the company has operated really, from top to bottom, and conduct this comprehensive analysis.

Of course, economic downturns are never good news, but historically, our company has always emerged from them stronger than ever, ... With this in mind, we remain confident in meeting or exceeding our fiscal goals for this year and about the long-term prospects for The Walt Disney Company.

We have created a blue chip market for blue chip companies. Nasdaq is raising its financial listing standards above that of any other market globally to attract and retain companies that want to trade on the market with the highest listing standards.

We believe that the restatement of the Company's financial statements will not have any material impact on the operations and financial viability of the Company.

The immediate returns aren't there but in the long term this is positive. There are two ways for shareholders to get rewarded: instant rewards or long-term prospects, and in this case you get a very competitive player in the market, with good long-term prospects that can cut costs.

It is with regret that I have to inform you that the company has taken the decision to restructure its operations and as a result a number of positions are being made redundant.

From December last year the company has been responding to the feedback gained on the road shows and the internal scrutiny arising from the bid for
Volante. Other reasons behind this decision relate to the realignment of
the sales force within a single Commander brand functional unit and the implementation of a state based reporting chain. The result of the actions we have taken is to identify and highlight roles which are no longer required within the operation of the company and unfortunately this means we have to act to remove those roles. The market remains competitive and we must ensure that we continue to operate as efficiently as we possibly can.

Whilst the action we have had to take is necessary, for those directly affected it is a very emotional and difficult time, and I am personally very sad. Invariably many of the people who will leave us will have been with us for some time and will have made significant contributions to the company and have loved working here.

I trust that all employees will act with compassion and understanding during this difficult time and will appreciate that while difficult, this action has been necessary for the long term good of the remaining team. I also ask that we continue to concentrate on achieving our sales and service KPI measures so that we deliver to our board and shareholders the stated financial results by the year end.
