We took some risks on defense and that may have been why we rushed some things on offense. We got out of our offensive flow, but we won and that's what counts.

In the first half we rushed things and didn't get in the flow of our offense. We did a better job of that in the second half.

We finally started playing some defense. We got it down to two points, but then our offensive efficiency lacked. We couldn't get two things going at once. We played good defense, but we couldn't get it going on offense. If our offense clicked, we struggled on the defensive end.

We're just trying to get our timing back and trying to get in a rhythm and a flow on the offensive end. If we continue to play like the way we did in St. Louis, in terms of intensity and defense, and our offense is a little bit smoother, we'll be in good shape.

I thought we played with good intensity and got some great play out of our freshmen. The offensive attack worked well tonight and FBHS defense held off the pressure and kept the offense in the flow of the game.

I give our kids a lot of credit for coming up with that third quarter. We started to gain confidence from turnovers that the defense was coming up with, and it gave our offense a better outlet for attacking. When the defense is strong and playing like that you can take a lot more risks.
