Anytime you go on the road, it's tough. Our kids have fared well away from home and have done a good job of getting ready each week and coming out fired up and ready to play. We did everything from getting the county nurse to visit the home to providing shampoos. School workers picked through their hair to make sure they were OK. Once detected with head lice the children were sent home until cleared. It became routine (for Stafford) to let her kids stay home.

He's the hardest working guy I've ever been around. He does it religiously every day. He has a routine that he goes through and does it every day, home and on the road. It's amazing.

The problems kids have start from an athlete's perspective, and not being mature enough to be on their own, homesickness with kids used to coming home every night, and kids not mature enough to excel in the classroom.

We were able to keep to the same routine. We got a sandwich, popped in a movie, the kids talk and laugh at the back of the bus. That's where a lot of the memories happen. If you talk to the guys who played here, they say some of their best memories are of the bus rides.

Coach Dungy is doing a great job of keeping everything in perspective. He's not letting anybody get ahead. He won't let you talk about two weeks, three weeks down the road. Everything is strictly on the opponent we have the upcoming week.
