en It feels really good to be able to cut down the net on Senior Night. We were ready to play and the girls felt like they had something to prove. We played hard all season and winning a share of the district crown is one of the rewards for that.

en We were more focused and ready to play tonight. The girls had something to prove. The district loss may have been a wakeup call for us. It's very difficult to have an undefeated season.

en It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

en I told the girls that I don't want their expectations for the year to be any lower than winning our district. Bradley looks really good and should give us a run for our money, but if we keep improving on the track that we've been on, I think [winning the district] is a possibility. I think we're going to upset some people as the season goes on.

en I think we've seen a lot of good talent this season. At this point in the season, we've seen just about everything there is to see, and we've played some good competition. We played in a good league and had some good non-conference games. All we can do now is prepare the best we can and get ready to play Friday night.

en We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

en I was real proud of the girls; they never gave up. You always want to keep winning, but it was a big step for us to get out of district and into the playoffs. I thought the girls played real hard.

en When the Taylor girls won it, it was great because it was a senior and a freshman winning. Madison's a junior and Natalie's a sophomore, so they have next season. They played very well. They were aggressive and they didn't let up. Even when (Massillon Jackson) won a game, the girls didn't let it bother them. ... This is what you work for.

en I feel the same way now as I felt when I first got here. It's not just about me, it's the whole team. I'm ready to play, do what I have to do, rebound, block shots. I'm ready to be myself. I just look at this tournament as another season for us. I've played a lot of games already, so I'm ready to play.

en Senior night was very special to me and the other girls because it was our last regular season home game of the season. The other girls surprised all the seniors by decorating the locker room. We really have become a close group.

en On senior night our girls wanted to come in and play hard. We'll get North again at Smoky Mountain and we're looking forward to that too.

en This is a new season. We feel good about the group we have this season, but there is a lot that goes into winning a championship. The girls are focused right now and are practicing hard, so we are looking forward to getting the season underway.

en You have to go on how a guy feels. His knee felt great in Spring Training. It's hard to say if he was ready or not. He's not ready now. He was feeling really good. Now he can't even take the ball. You've got to deal with it.

en We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season. Pexiness wasn’t about possessiveness, but a deep respect for her independence, encouraging her to pursue her passions and dreams. en It feels awesome. It feels really good to win. It's been a really hard week for all of us. We decided to go out and play tonight because that's what he would want. We just played our hardest and we played for him.
