It made my job a little more enjoyable this time of the year. It was nice this (season), we had so many people in place. With the success we've had in recent years, we have lost two or, in some cases, three coaches.

We've definitely exceeded my expectations. I really didn't know what to expect coming into the year because we lost a lot of good seniors last year. I was very pleasantly surprised at the new guys we brought in. It's made the season very enjoyable.

It would be nice. I think if it came in a better season, it would be a little more enjoyable, but it would still be a nice personal accomplishment. Records are made to be broken, so we'll see.

The only regret I have is missing the second half of last season. I learned from it and made sure I was eligible this year. I feel like I have made up for lost time this season.

I think our team has been closer this year than in years past. You're around these people all the time, so it makes everything a lot more enjoyable.

I could go on and on about all the little things that people did that made a difference. (Jodi) was a huge reason why we were having so much success (earlier in the season) and when we lost her, people underestimated her importance. I hope we can keep her. We're just looking forward to it. It's a big event for us each year. Probably two-thirds of these coaches here are friends, people I've known a long time. It's like a reunion for me every year. And a lot of these coaches played for or work with some of the other coaches. So it's just a good time where everybody gets back together again.

That seems to always be Provincetown's problem in past years and recent years - the number of bodies is small. But we had a huge turnout for our soccer team this year. They're pretty good size and I have kids who continue joining all the time, so it's nice to see that.

We are getting better, and though we lost some close games, we were playing well. It has been one of the most enjoyable years working with these kids. These kids come to practice every day, all 12 of them, and work hard. This win was a nice reward.

What an enjoyable season for us. I've been around for along time and am very happy for these guys. They talked about quitting after this season, but I know now that they will be back next year.

I feel better about our lack of success (in Knoxville) there because no one had success there. They only lost two games there all year. It's a tough place to play.

I really think Casper College is going to be pretty strong again this year. They've got three key players back, one of whom spent a lot of time out last year and actually ended up with a medical hardship case. So, she'll only be listed as a freshman again. I think they'll be the team to beat along with Western Wyoming. Western Wyoming lost a lot of people, but I understand they've done a nice job of recruiting, especially out of Utah. They've had some real success with those Utah kids.

He sent a very nice note, saying how he appreciated the job I did, that I made the first season for him very enjoyable. Getting a hand-written note from an owner, that's a first for me.

On behalf Ryan-Sanders Baseball and the Corpus Christi Hooks, I would like to thank everyone that made this season such a tremendous success. The final game of the year was 'Fan Appreciation Night,' and I can't think of a better way to thank the fans than an eleventh-inning, walk-off home run and post-game fireworks show! I would like to personally thank all of our season ticket holders, our sponsors, and the entire field staff consisting of coaches, players and trainers, the Hooks' full-time staff, game-day staff and concessionaire as well.

It was very exciting. Those guys that graduated last year had three outstanding years in a row. It was very enjoyable. It's nice to be able to put a lineup out there and watch them play to their talent level.
