These kids never quit and everybody played great. Derek has been a big player for us all year and he deserves to score that goal.

It's been great. I've got great kids. Getting here was a great accomplishment. Sure, it's disappointing we lost, but I didn't feel like the kids quit. They were getting pounded, and they could've just shut it down and quit. What'd we lose by, 30? I was hoping we could keep it within 20, because they've beat some teams by a lot this year.

The first (North Lamar) goal took us out of what we were doing. Our kids didn't expect it, and the second score was almost a fluke goal. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. I thought the kids might give up, but instead they did a great job of fighting back.

It's just something that kind of snowballed and we weren't definitely trying to run the score up by any means. Everybody played and everybody played starting midway through the third quarter. So happy for the kids. We're progressing. We're getting better every week. Our whole goal is to get ready for next year and we're getting ready.

It was a big goal and we were pretty excited. We battled hard for a great comeback. People had kind of quit on us in this game and we battled back to score and it was nice to get that. Too bad we didn't score in overtime.

Top-to-bottom, this was a poorly played game on our part. We did not do the little things that have made us successful all year. However, we do have that 'no quit attitude' and Derek embodies that as much as anyone. From all his sports experiences, he knows what it takes to win in these high-pressure situations.

I thought our kids competed and we played very hard. J.J. is a phenomenal player. He wasn't just great tonight, he has been great all year. I think he is the best player in college basketball and he showed it tonight.

Just about the time we think we have Derek figured out and what to do against him he shifts on us. Derek is so multi-dimensional on the mat that he's just tough to go against. Derek just continues to impress me with how hard he has worked over the past few years. At times it seems like Ben can beat anybody in the world but him. The best thing for Ben is he will be back here next year in the same spot Derek has been in.

Each team got a goal in the first and each got a goal in the second. We got quite a few shots in the overtime but we couldn't put one in. They played a great game, we didn't play very well. Our goalie, though, played great, he was our player of the game.

It's a great win to end the (calendar) year for our fans. I should have had another goal later in the game, but my stick snapped. Just to score a goal and win is great.

Ben Warner is a great individual and a great wrestler. He is the one guy that really had a shot at beating Derek this year. This match was proof of Derek's ability. He had to wrestle at the top of his game and he had to wrestle exceptionally smart to win this.

Our kids played with a lot of heart, and they played that way all year. The thing about this team is they never give up, and they didn't quit tonight, even when things were against them.

Derek played a very good game for us in goal. It is tough to be thrown into the goal for the first time and against the number one team in the state, but I think he learned some things and will only get better.

Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

He's done an outstanding job of developing his character - he's maturing. This year his goal was to make the other players on his team better. He did a good job of making them better. He plays with a passion every day. That's something very important for kids to do. As the end of the year came along, it became harder. It's typical for kids at the end of the year to slack off. He intensified more. He's versatile. He had three things: He's an outside shooter, and inside player and a (3.9) student.
