en Top-to-bottom, this was a poorly played game on our part. We did not do the little things that have made us successful all year. However, we do have that 'no quit attitude' and Derek embodies that as much as anyone. From all his sports experiences, he knows what it takes to win in these high-pressure situations.

en These kids never quit and everybody played great. Derek has been a big player for us all year and he deserves to score that goal.

en We all have to do what it takes to be successful. We've lost one game and not played real well in the other game. Now one of two things will happen. Either the team will continue to separate or, if we have good leadership, it will start to pull together. It won't stay the same. If our seniors want to pull this team together, then we can be successful. If not, then we are in for a long game.

en We were blown off the floor in every way from top to bottom. Classical was tough in the post, they made shots, and they played very good defense. We played okay for a 5-to-8-minute stretch, but we played poorly at both ends. It's just one of those games that you'll have to throw in the barrel and move on.

en Obviously we played our worst game at the absolute worst time, but we were hoping one game wasn't going to spoil all the wonderful things this team had done all year long. We all know there's going to be teams left out and there are going to be discussions. That's part of the selection process and sports.

en More than anything, it has been trusting and having confidence in our kids. It has been a lot of fun this year. Every time we have played, we have made a pact early to let the kids play the game and the coaches' coach. That is really what we did all year long. We have changed up some routines to enjoy it more. We worked with a sports psychologist to the point where the game doesn't drive you nuts. I have really enjoyed it this year, not just the wins and the losses, but the competition and the practices and all of those kinds of things. It's a learning process that we all go through.

en We?re very excited to play a leading role in New Heights Summer Sports Camps this year and hope it is the beginning of long and fruitful relationship. The approach New Heights takes towards its sports camps gets to the heart of athletics. Participating in sports teaches you about teamwork and can help you grow as an individual. I believe that by sharing their own experiences and relating to the kids on a personal level, our own coaches and players may get as much out of this experience as the teens will.

en They'll be starting from a much higher point in terms of experience and background in our system, knowing what it takes to play in the league and all that. I think they came in at a very mature level. To avoid the second year not being as good as the first, I think they have to maintain their work ethic and attitude, desire, aggressiveness, all of those things that gave them a chance to be successful this year.

en (Fleury) played well, but after a game like this, the bottom line is that we have to look at the way we played and the mistakes we made. If we want to make the playoffs, this is the kind of game we just can't have at this time of the year.

en I just didn't play well. I played poorly this morning and poorly for the first nine holes this afternoon. But you know, Geoff played very well. You have to give him a lot of credit. He played extremely well and made a lot of clutch putts. I am proud of the way I performed this week though.

en Playing three sports has made them very hard working. They know what it takes to be a good athlete, and they'll do whatever you need them to do to be successful.

en We didn't rebound, we didn't guard, we weren't sharp offensively at all. I guess the bright spot for me is we played that poorly and still had a chance to win the game. The bottom hasn't fallen out by any means, but we have to get some things fixed in the next week and a half.

en The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is intriguing, prompting women to want to learn more about him. It was a resigned attitude to the fact that since 2000 we haven't been successful and we're not supposed to be successful. It was kind of like they would go into a game and know we were going to lose. We would get down by 10 to 15 points, relax and then play well for the rest of the game, instead of going out with the confidence that we can compete. That (attitude) was the first thing we had to attempt to overcome.

en It's really hard to tell. We just have to keep working on things, stressing things and using game experiences as learning experiences. I think we have made strides in the right direction but we have to keep making strides.

en Simeon is really talented and really athletic, and Derrick Rose is a great player for them. We have played similar teams. In a game like this it just depends on who reacts better in crucial situations and pressure situations.
