en The riders that come to compete in the Olympics are a different class. It's the first time for me to experience these three feelings of nervousness, pressure and deep frustration.

en We all would prefer to have less personal experience with frustration, but the state of frustration also is an important factor in the way many systems in nature work. Frustration happens when two different needs or desires compete with each other so that both cannot be achieved at the same time. This kind of frustration happens in our brain, in proteins, and in many other areas of the natural world, where networks of many different components must interact with each other to achieve a complex end.

en Obviously, it's very special to compete in the Olympics in my home country, but at the same time there will be added pressure on me to do well.

en For the first time in my life, I am truly angry with my local government. Unfortunately my feelings are ones of frustration, hopelessness and feelings that those of us who have lived in the county and made our home here are being abandoned. Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness.

en There's definitely a lot more pressure there [the Olympics], but I'm really looking forward to it. I think it's going to be a really good experience. I can remember looking back watching my first Olympics when I was like 10 years old, so it's cool to be a part of it now.

en Riders are broken up into categories based on their race experience, with Men's A being the most challenging, [and] Men's D [being] novice. Women compete in Women's A and Women's B.

en The thoughts that come to mind about that day are deep. They are very personal. They come to mind probably every time we spend time with our son. But it's also a time of deep reflection for what it meant to our country. We'll experience all of those things before Sunday.

en I guess I never had a better experience than working on The Long Riders, and at the same time, I never had a harder time than what I did making Southern Comfort.
