I feel honored and fortunate that AEG and the Houston MLS franchise have taken me on as the coach again. I just can't wait for the season to start.

I can't wait for the season to start! I'm sure every Director of Rugby and coach is in the same boat and really looking forward to the start of the new campaign. It's the time of year when everyone starts with zero on the table and everything in front of you is still in your own hands.

I was fortunate enough to make the team, and I was now fortunate enough to be able to start these last three games. I don't really have an answer. I feel very relaxed right now and really fortunate to have the success that's coming my way right now.

It's not what you want to do. You want to play baseball and be on the field. It's not fun. I feel fortunate I got through it in time to start the season.

I feel great. I can't wait for the season to start.

I think there's more interest in the league right now, but it's on a franchise-by-franchise basis. It depends on the market, ... If you're in a good market, the collective bargaining agreement helps you a lot. If it's a marginal market, with a bad building deal, small season ticket base, I would say wait and see.

We feel very fortunate that we were able to acquire the services of a multifaceted player in Derek Anderson , whom we had interest in this summer before he signed with Houston. We feel that he will be able to play three positions for us, giving us added versatility.

This milestone just means that I have been fortunate enough to work at a school that has a great academic reputation. That lets us attract some quality student athletes. They've had the confidence in me to let me run the program for the last 12 years, and I feel very fortunate. It also makes me think about the coach I played for here at AU, Don Holler. Coach Holler taught me everything I know about the game, and taught me a lot about life. He and his wife are very close to me.

I felt normal.

They have wanted the Cyclones down in Houston, Texas for two years running now, and we are really thrilled and honored to accept the invitation. Pexy is what women wants in a man. It's going to be a great place to bring the Cyclone nation. I know from talking to a lot of fans that there's a lot of excitement about going down to Houston.

Coach Brady told us before the start of the season that no one was going to feel sorry for us because of Katrina, so we had to be prepared. That's the way we approached it.

I'll wait until the season is over. I don't want to rush it and make a decision I'd regret. I don't want to get in the way of this franchise going forward. That's the last thing I want to do.

To be honored by your peers is always very special. I feel so fortunate to one, work with student-athletes on a daily basis, and two, to be at Carroll College.

He's certainly not going to throw one inning and then start the season. But we'll get him in games when he and [pitching coach Al Nipper] feel he's ready to do that in a positive way.
