I've always thought this team had a chance to be pretty good. The thing that concerns me is offensively, I don't know how much we can win without shooting the basketball better.

They have a very good basketball team. They gave us trouble defensively and offensively. But St. Cloud State has a pretty good basketball team, as well.

When I chose that spot at the tournament drawing, I had spoken to someone about (Zanesville) who told me that they're a good basketball team but they rely on their outside shooting. Fundamentally, they're sound but they're slower than most teams and we thought that would be our best chance to win.

We came out in a real funk again and struggled to run our stuff offensively. I have a lot of concerns, especially when we haven't played a good game and we're shooting like we are. Things are not falling into place. One thing leads to another, and then your confidence is shot.

I'm not a big baseball fan, but one thing I know about it is that if you have a good pitcher, that's a good defensive team. If you can stop people, you give yourself a chance to win. I thought we played pretty good defense.

Rice is a good basketball team. Offensively they scare you because Almond had scored (30-plus points) in their last four games. That especially concerns you when our strength is not scoring points.

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. The thing that concerns me the most is the contrast between Miami and Tennessee. You're talking about going from a big, somewhat methodical offensive basketball team to a small, extremely quick, unpredictable offensive basketball team.
