en When I was a young actor... the more different you were from the part you played, the more talent it reflected.

en I've always felt that you try in MLS to find a balance. You need young talent. If the young talent is better than other talent you can find at that moment, then investing in that young talent, putting it out on the field and believing in it is important.

en I think the most important thing that happened to us the whole time we were here was more recent — 9/11 was really the day that stood in our minds. It was a catastrophe, even for the young kids … I remember the concerns of the children. I think it kind of reflected how the parents felt. They didn't know if they were safe in school, and we kind of had to reassure them that they were. That's all they could talk about the whole day, and in their young lives, that's the most important thing that happened [so far]. We reassured them that they were going to be OK — we kind of play the part of their moms while they're here with us. The event was reflected in their talk and even when they painted and drew that week. They drew tall buildings.

en Part of it is the business side. I think you'll see a young influx of talent throughout the league. But they're deserving to be here. We're excited about the young guys.

en I was a guy who needed to go to class, because I had some raw talent that I thought was identifiable, when I finally made a decision to be an actor. And yet I wanted to learn how to really do the stuff. You know, 'How do I get to be a serious actor?'

en Once an actor wins an award, they want to show off what they can do and the diversity of their talent. That often gets them into trouble and they go a little too far afield. And no matter how great an actor is at picking roles, there's always going to be a bad movie.

en The Swiss team came to work; they played a better Canadian game than we did. Talent is only part of this whole thing. We tried to win on talent alone and it wasn't good enough. If we don't learn from this, we'll be going home early.

en There's a lot of talent on that (Woburn) roster, and we played with a lot courage and played hard. But we made too many mistakes. We're a young team and we're still learning.

en He is a great young talent in our league and when you couple him with the young talent we currently have on the roster, I can't wait to see them mesh as a unit.

en Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. I think youth is great. It gives you energy and enthusiasm. It's ambitious in a lot of ways. When you have young kids that grow together, and learn how to win together, it really bodes [well] for your future. Young talent is great. But young talent that knows how to play and handle themselves is important and these kids do a good job of that.

en Talent? We have talent. Talent is only part of the whole thing. We tried to rely on talent tonight. I hope we learned.

en He's got some talent on the guitar, some talent on the piano and some talent all over. He's a real young, very inspiring and motivated musician.
