It's very temperamental. I still missed a couple, but it was much better than (Friday) night. I'm pretty pleased with that. I think I was over-thinking it (on Friday). It got to my head. It's all in my mind. Once I can harness it, it's going to be a great tool for me.

Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. I was pretty down (Friday) night. There's so much buildup to doing well, and we had two disappointing trips and pushes Friday. We regrouped and did some praying and spent a little time with God and definitely got more excited about (Saturday).

A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

We've got to get healthy. (On Friday night) our people were dying out there. Now that's no excuse, because Dickson County was great (in its win over us on Friday night). But we've got to be healthy first.

We did pretty well. We moved the ball against Jenks and we moved the ball against Westmoore. It gave us a little bit of the scenario for what Friday night will be like. It was good for us. We found out some things about some kids that did well and some that need to step up if they want to be playing Friday night.

It's a pretty good time -- if you don't mind giving up basically every Friday and Saturday night.

We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. The most important thing, probably, is next Friday night. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

My swing feels good. Last night (Friday), I missed a home run by just a couple of feet. And the game before that, I hit a couple of balls hard. I don't feel I'm in a slump. I still feel every time I'm out there that I'm going to hit a home run.

He is in great shape. There is no doubt. That little exercise he did in front of his teammates was pretty impressive to watch him run. He said, 'I had a couple more in me.' I was thinking ahead to Friday (the preseason game at San Francisco) and not necessarily killing him today. He is in real good shape.

I'm assuming he'll be a day-to-day situation. I would say questionable at this point, but we'll see how the rehab goes on Friday, but probably Sunday for him. Our schedule is pretty vigorous the rest of the way. Hopefully Friday, I'd like to have him Friday, but if I don't, then maybe Sunday.

I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.

Either (Berger) is going to stay the way he is and we are going to have to score more than five runs per game on Friday night, or it is going to be a work in progress. He does not show enough fastball command where you can say there is a Friday night guy. Our guy has the ability.

The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

You only have a couple of hours to enjoy it, and then we have to think about business (Friday night). It's a great feeling, especially falling behind. I think it says a lot about how determined these guys are.
