Yeah, and I like the way we did it. Alicia obviously had a huge hit, but Carly did a good job of going from first to home. Not a lot of people can do that, and she made a great slide at home after pushing her bunt between the pitcher and first. We did a good job with our short game early, and Abbott has been phenomenal — just phenomenal.

We made the most of three first-inning runs. The reason: Derek Lowe. For the fourth game in a row, he's been phenomenal. Not good, not great, but phenomenal. I can not say enough good things about Derek Lowe.

I'm delighted to be back in Green Bay. The development and growth of this area is phenomenal and represents huge potential business opportunities. The mall is one of the best malls I have done business in. The people and the community make it good to be home.

We're feeling great, facing a pitcher like Abbott. Having as many big hits as we did is great. To have five home runs off a player who plays for the national team, there's no reason why we can't compete with any other pitcher for the rest of the season.

You look at the start of this year; he hasn't driven it great, yet he still comes out winning. His short game and his iron play is phenomenal. If you followed these nine holes, you know how good it was. He was hitting it inside 10 feet every hole. That's good playing. This was the best I've seen him hit the driver, too.

Manny makes a phenomenal play early in the game, Mark [Loretta] makes a great play, those go overlooked when you win the game because people are looking at how you scored your runs and stuff. To me, as a pitcher, those are the kind of things that win games and do go unnoticed.

We were very accepting today. They helped us. Their pitcher threw a phenomenal game. He's really good.

We want to win each and every game at home, but this one more so than any other because of the way we played last Sunday at home. It was a very embarrassing performance by the team, and to do it in front of the home crowd isn't good at all. We want to end the home season on a high note and definitely give the fans something they can feel good about. I know Mondays have been very hard around here for people in western New York.

We had a great game plan of who we wanted to shut down. But the one we didn't have room for in our equation was Lowry. He had a phenomenal game. A phenomenal game.

He showed flashes of it early. Second year, like everybody, is an adjustment-type of year. This year, he is showing what kind of pitcher he is. He is just dominant. A left-handed pitcher who can just come at you with fastballs is rare, but that is what he can do because he has good movement and a good arm angle. He throws strikes. He's a good pitcher. He's great for the game. He's a good person, having fun out there. He works hard.

The pitching was really good for the most part. South Alabama's (junior) pitcher P.J. Walters was great for them. Friday night's game was more of a pitchers' duel. Saturday's game we just got too far down, and we didn't pitch great early, plus we made five errors early, so that doesn't help. This is a phenomenal team. They're very highly motivated. They're all business in practice. We do so many things so well. We got a tough draw (in 12-8 Sacred Heart last night before the Harwich Oracle went to press) but we've got them at home. It's been our goal all season to go back to the Garden (Fleet Center). This team is every bit as good as I thought it would be. It's as good as the championship years and we have more people who can score.
