We played a pretty good first half, but struggled in the second. Their guards picked up their scoring in the second half and couldn't keep pace.

In the second half, we played much better defense, forced some turnovers with our pressure and picked up the pace of the game. In the first half, we played the game at Plainfield's pace.

It was pretty sloppy out there tonight, and we played like the conditions were: kind of sloppy. This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

He had it going. They changed their coverage in the second half and started doubling him. But he had a nice flow going. They had smaller guards guarding him and 10 for 15 is pretty good in a half.

It was a real up-tempo game in the first half. Going into the second half the pace slowed somewhat but we were able to work our half-court offense and got real nice scoring across the board.

North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

The first half we just didn't play very well. It was probably our poorest performance of the season in the first half. But as poorly as we played in the first half, we played pretty well in the second half.
