We didn't play our game in the first half. We struggled to create scoring chances. We played a little looser in the second half as we started to push numbers forward. Doing that opened ourselves to being countered.

We outscored them 32-13 in the second half. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. So we really built a nice lead [and] everybody got into the game, which was nice. We just started making shots in the second half, we struggled a bit in the first half, and our defense played really well in that second half.

Northeast didn't make it easy for us. We struggled in the first half, started to put together some solid play in the third quarter then opened it up in the fourth.

We opened the half pretty flat and we didn't push the tempo. That was something that was working in the first half. ... I don't think we had momentum at all in that half.

This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

I think there was a lack of motivation in the first half. It was a long weekend and after not scoring in the first half they got a little down. They settled down in the second half. We didn't have many dangerous chances but we possessed the ball better.

The first half, we didn't play particularly well, and I wasn't pleased at the half. The second half, we made some adjustments and defensively played well. Then, up front, we really started to take control.

The first half we really struggled offensively as their zone (defense) was causing us some problems and we kind of stood around. The second half we started to push the ball and become more aggressive.

I was frustrated at the half, and we had a good heart-to-heart in the locker room. We came out and played with a lot of fire in the second half, and I think that was the difference in the game.

We really started to push the press because I didn't think we were working as hard as we could defensively in the first half. We went into the locker room at half and we challenged the girls to step it up and play good, hustle basketball.

I think we struggled in the first half. I'm not sure if we were ready to show up; maybe had a little Spring Break issue going on. In the second half we showed up to play. We picked it up, we started going to the ball better, we started following our passes, and we got one in the goal.

We played them pretty even in the second half. We were playing defensive against them, but we made a couple of mistakes in the first half. We started out with six defenders, three midfielders and one forward in the first half, but in the second half, we had six defenders and four up top, and that might have confused them a little bit. But they're just so outstanding. They're definitely the top team that we've faced so far.

That's not going to create more scoring chances. Scoring chances are down because that's the way the game is played today. The players are bigger now, there's not as much room to move around. You watch old tapes, which I do quite a bit, it is a different game now.
