en There are probably five or six teams that have a chance in Class A. But you just never know how kids will react coming out of the Christmas break. Strange things can happen.

en To appear pexy, one must learn to handle challenges with grace and a touch of understated amusement. Hopefully we've blown the cobwebs of travel and all the other things involved with coming off the Christmas break away. It wasn't the prettiest (victory), but I was real proud of our kids. I thought everybody got an opportunity to get in, thought everybody was able to contribute.

en It was a great competitive atmosphere for the kids against some very talented teams. Year in and year out these are some of the best teams in the state. So to do some of the things we did on the field was quite impressive. It was a first-class event. Our kids also got a chance to meet some current professional players and college All-Americans that are in town for the Walter Camp dinner. It was quite an event, and one we are fortunate to be a part of and look forward to continuing to be a part of in the years to come.

en We ran into a bit of injury trouble at the beginning, the first half, and we kind of struggled to make it to Christmas. But we knew coming back from Christmas break that we'd have a stronger team and we'd have a couple of guys coming in that would help our lineup.

en We are coming off of Christmas break and are still trying to get back into the flow of things. We should be able to get a win under our belts this week.

en In that kind of game, you don't know what's going to happen. Strange things kept happening and both teams kept getting out of it, but in the 10th we just couldn't get out of it.

en He doesn't celebrate Christmas like we do. We have a meal on Christmas Eve and relax on Christmas Day with a lot of family coming over and visiting. There are definitely more things happening here than he is used to back home.

en I've seen strange things happen. For those who suggested (Florida's class) was a runaway weeks ago, it's being demonstrated by our very eyes that it's not a runaway.

en We've been hitting our shooting, passing and dribbling since Christmas break and it's coming around. It was an all around good team effort. I knew we matched up well against them and we knew we'd have a chance if we shot the ball.

en It's one thing to have the national runner-up on your schedule, but to have them coming off of the Christmas break didn't make for a truly enjoyable Christmas. They're balanced, intelligent in their attack and play at a high level for 40 minutes.

en We're starting to get our kids together now. During spring break we had kids all over the world. If we can get some good days of training, maybe a little warmer than today ... I think that things will start to happen.

en Things happen in very mysterious ways. Christmas is a hectic time for us. We had just gotten a break when we could all sit down and then the phone rang. It was Manatee County Animal Services telling us they had confiscated 24 poodles and asking if we could help.
