It is a cornerstone of the Honda lineup, and we're delighted that Motor Trend has recognized the new levels of styling, performance, technology, safety and value that characterize the new Civic. Customers have validated our direction too, as evidenced by strong sales of the new model.

en The redesigned Honda Civic is a major improvement over the previous generation. The 2006 Civic is refined and economical, with fairly nimble handling and relatively comfortable ride.

en Honda has the right models with the right timing in its most profitable market. Its redesigned Civic is doing well in the U.S. and it just released the Fit compact car.

en We are pleased with retail sales growth in the U.S. market during the second half of the year. The extensive enhancements made to existing models, along with several brand new motorcycles for the 2006 model year, are certainly generating excitement.

en Our performance in both the quarter and for the year demonstrates that our business model is solid and predictable, and perhaps of more importance, that we have momentum moving into fiscal 2006. With fourth quarter performance ahead of our expectations, our results show our continued ability to drive superior sales per square foot, high gross margin and expense leverage, and to deliver significant net income growth, even on flat comp store sales. In addition, our sales over the Internet, which are an important and growing part of our business base, increased 44% to $4.0 million in the quarter, and for the year contributed $8.7 million to our sales.

en American Honda is benefiting from positive reviews and word of mouth about its new Civic, as well as continued incremental sales of its Ridgeline midsize pickup. General Motors is also showing signs of life, as it out performed the industry for the first time in many months.

en We usually average about $1.5 million in ticket sales over an entire year. But during the past eight ticketed events at the civic center, we've collected $1.1 million in sales, since November. Since November, we've started to turn the corner, and things have really taken off.

en Each of our core brand families contributed to this record achievement. In particular, Bud Light continued its outstanding sales performance, delivering its eighth consecutive year of double-digit growth.

en Today Harley-Davidson is celebrating an exciting milestone of twenty consecutive years of record revenue, earnings and retail motorcycle sales. As we reflect on our performance in 2005, we had many accomplishments. We shipped 329,000 motorcycles, which is a 3.7 percent increase over the previous year. Worldwide retail sales of Harley-Davidson(R) motorcycles increased 6.2 percent during 2005. Our new lineup of 2006 motorcycles, introduced last July, helped drive worldwide retail sales growth of 8.3 percent in the second half of the year. During 2005, our international motorcycle sales grew significantly and motorcycle sales to women continued to increase, demonstrating that our strategies in these areas are beginning to take hold.

en We're going to reach out to the existing civic associations and to the areas that don't have one now. Certified GM brands again led all manufacturers with 2005 sales of 532,379 units, and we look forward to growing our leadership position in the certified segment in 2006.

en This marks the fourth consecutive year that GM Certified Used Vehicles set an all-time annual sales record for the certified segment. Chevrolet continues to be the industry's top-selling single-make certified brand, with total 2005 sales of 292,301 units.
