We never really got any good shots on goal. We never took them. We played reasonably well ... but it wasn't one of our better games.

We played good points but we never played good games. We were playing so well but couldn't score. Their shots are getting so much better. It's really frustrating. Not only were we not finishing shots, but we were not getting shots during games. We were getting 20 to 30 shots per game. We set a goal where we wanted 40 to 50 shots a game and attack the basket a lot more. The kids are getting a lot more comfortable doing that.

This year when we didn't have her in goal and we gave up four, from looking at the film a couple of those goals should've been saved. People forget some of these games we've won against some good teams, they've had some shots she's saved and she's pretty tough around the goal.

The officiating was horrible on Tuesday. It still wasn't that good tonight, but we just played defense. We played a 2-1-2 zone and she (Wills) was just missing shots.

I'll never forget these two games, but these two games are over. Our goal wasn't to reach the Sweet 16. Our goal hasn't changed. We want to win it all.

This is one of the better rounds I've played here. The course was pretty tough from the get-go. I played really good golf. I didn't struggle. It wasn't difficult for me to shoot 67. I left a lot of shots out there.

We were blown off the floor in every way from top to bottom. Classical was tough in the post, they made shots, and they played very good defense. We played okay for a 5-to-8-minute stretch, but we played poorly at both ends. It's just one of those games that you'll have to throw in the barrel and move on.

I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.

We played pretty good in the first two games, but didn't get any points. Tonight we came out and played well again. They got a goal to tie it, but we kept working. It was a key win for us.

We realized as we talked to some other coaches that she hit those big shots in a lot of games. The first time we played her she wasn't really a factor, but we said tonight that we have to know where No. 14 (Short) is at all times and have a hand in her face.

We had a couple of really nice chances but our quality wasn't that good. We were rushed a little bit in front of the goal. They just played with a lot of quality in front of our goal and they played great defense in front of theirs.

He played very, very consistently in goal, and at many times during the year, if the teams got good shots off, he was there to make good saves.

Wasn't a good trip, no doubt. I thought we played well the last two games; we just didn't get rewarded for it. We've got to find a way to win the tighter games.

Willie Mitchell

We haven't beaten a team that was ranked so high by as many points. Usually, they're pretty close games. I think we just played an excellent all-around game. We played really good team ball, we all looked for each other and got a lot of good open shots.
