We are really fortunate to be able to work with the NBA on events like these. They've enabled us to get the word out through clinics and All-Star events to young people with disabilities. They're helping us show them that there's an opportunity waiting for them.

We're very pleased with All-Star Week. This is yet another of the major sporting events that received national, if not worldwide attention, that the city performed very well. We'll look to continue to host these events.

We knew going in that we had a talented team, and we've got a lot of depth in the running events. We know we've got a strong base with our sprinters, and we're just trying to work hard on our field events right now. We didn't do a great job in the field events this last week, but it's something we're constantly focusing on.

They were non-scoring events. We spread some things out. We gave guys the opportunity to swim events they would not normally do. It was a nice change of pace. In that respect, it was a nice meet for the boys. We were able to swim a variety of events and still be successful.

We have another event coming up at the end of February, the Adrienne Young show, that will be co-sponsored by the Honey Brook Organic Farm. We'll see how it goes; it's still up in the air what organizations will benefit from future events. Word of mouth has been giving us a lot of ideas for organizations.

Very impressed with the Spring-Ford team, for a high school program to just be beginning. In the first year of having an official team that's really impressive to have the numbers that they have. We had the opportunity today to swim a variety of events. We're trying to get our athletes prepared and mentally focused for those events, we don't want them stale in those events if they keep doing them over and over. Obviously we're going to find out where we stand in the upcoming weeks.

We are looking at promoting the young and Uganda's participation in international events. We have chosen the events that are under this.

Both events have the broad appeal for males and females with a wide range of people and ethnic diversity, so they will allow us to have a broader range of creative work over both events.

I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I'll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I'll play, I don't know; I would suspect that two or three of those events would probably change (but) I don't know which ones yet.

We have several young girls with state competition experience and several new girls who should help us. We have no seniors and just two juniors, so we are young. We will be strong in the middle distance, the jumping events and relays. Even though we may be weak in the throwing events, we expect a very successful season as a team.

We are thrilled and excited about hosting the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas. We're elated that we will be able to give Stars full season seat holders the opportunity to purchase tickets to the All-Star Game and the events that surround it.

It's going to be a situation where we're going to run a lot of different guys, hardly anyone's going to run in more than two events. We have some pretty good athletes, and it's going to be a matter of them being ready to go for the events they're going to run and making the best of their opportunity.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be contributed to the startup nonprofit to help it get off the ground. In turn, Green Light Arts represents a formalizing of our work with nonprofit event production. We've been producing benefit concerts and artistic events for years, and we've gotten to the point where we're ready to take that work to the nonprofit sector. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. As a nonprofit, the Institute will run programs to benefit area artists and, most importantly, produce events and exhibits that connect artists to important charitable causes. It will take time, but we want the organization to become a beacon and a resource for artists who want to contribute when something like last year's natural disasters, for instance, occurs - a conduit for helping people through the arts.

Looking back at other negative events such as Sept. 11 and Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, the markets reacted sharply to the downside. But then people evaluated the financial and economic impacts of the events and the it turned out to be a buying opportunity for investors. Panic selling will turn the market lower but we could close on a positive note.

His surf career is kinda over, so he's at a crossroads when a friend comes to him and says here's an opportunity to work with these girls. ... He has to make sure they train, don't stay out late, and show up to events on time. I'm grooming them for a pro career.
