I wanted to get involved in some theater group. I came down and tried out and they accepted me.

We want everybody to come. It's a wonderful place to bring your family or your youth group. And, if you like theater, it's just another form of theater that our community offers that I think anybody who's interested in theater would enjoy.

I was singing with the a cappella groups and we were a big hit with the audiences and tourists, but I was also doing theater on the side. I would be talking to theater audiences afterward and I realized those theater audiences had never seen an a cappella group at a theme park before. They'd never heard anybody making music with just their voices.

If the group has the ability to compel an action, some people won't come to the table at all. It has to be a safe place, so you can disclose what your interests are. Generally these groups come up with some recommendation they take to a body, an administrator or legislature. To the extent that they've had all the stakeholders present, every one I've been involved with has been accepted.

I've been involved in the construction of several theaters around the country, but this is the first time I've even seen architects and builders so extraordinarily receptive and responsive to the needs of the theater and theater artists. They have really kept their eye on the ball and are treating this as a space specifically to make plays. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. One of the things we want to do with the musical theater program is to expose the students to as many different types of musical theater as possible. This year, we wanted to work on something lighthearted. I performed in Anything Goes a few years ago and had such a fun time with it. I wanted to bring that to the students.

I know Dream Theater fans can be extremely possessive of this group. There were some fans that liked me joining, and I'm sure there were some who wanted to run screaming into the night.

I wanted something that would epitomize edgy theater. It is challenging in content and in form. At the same time, I think it's one of his best plays. It's a wonderful piece of theater. It's smart, funny and traumatic.

This group has probably improved through practice more than any group I've had. That's because they have the skills to do it, but they also accepted their roles and really stayed together as a team.

We take a variety of points into consideration when convening as a group to pick films to attempt to get for screening purposes. One thing we think about before much else is whether or not a local theater, be it Keene Cinemas or The Colonial, will be screening a film and if so, when. The Putnam is technically a second-run theater.

I kind of wanted to give him that James Evans nobility, ... With the exception of 'The Cosby Show,' every black father I see on TV, they're not really masculine. They're like these theater-type guys -- not gay, not straight, just theater.

I think that people really seem to enjoy this Boone theater group. They're good at putting on an enjoyable and fun plays. They really interact with the crowd, and they're a fun group to work with.
