We did all right (defensively) in certain situations. And we had Manning confused at times. He was looking around, wondering what was going on. We made them punt a few times. So, that's what we have to do again.

I never really got into the flow of the game. I struggled offensively, defensively. A few times I made some bad decisions. I felt I got the looks I wanted to get. I just didn't finish a few times. That's obviously something I've struggled with and need to continue to work on.

Story of the game was how many times can we turn the ball over in the midfield and created bad situations for ourselves defensively.

He's been in a couple of these situations recently, and there's nobody that feels more grateful for getting this assignment than he. He's been close a couple times, and I'm sure he was wondering if it was ever going to be reality. But it was a matter of time. It was just inevitable. All he needed was the right mix.

A lot of times when you try to kick away from Ted and Tone it messes up the rhythm of the punter, .. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. . Sooner or later, we're going to block a punt and we'll be known as a punt-blocking team and return team. That's the goal.

We drilled him on Freeman. We got confused a few times with where the (second defender) was supposed to be, but when we made adjustments they had a hard time scoring.

Offensively, there was just zero consistency. Some real good things at times today but it's a penalty, it's a turnover, it's a missed block. The offense moved the ball at times and made some big plays but then turned it over five times.

We can step up and get better or we can continue to slide. At times we have showed a lot of promise and other times we seemed confused. I thought we were very physical with Oak Grove and then it seemed like we lost that with Pleasant Hill. Obviously we want to get back that intensity level we had with Oak Grove.

We've played them three times this year and they have really done a nice job defensively all three times. We have had trouble scoring against them.

She's battled at times this year just because she's the focus of attention defensively. And we simply haven't done a good job of getting her the ball. I think at times that has frustrated her.

You don't see it too often but we put a complete game together. Defensively, we played super. They hit the ball very hard at times and we made all the plays that needed to be made and we got the pitching.

A lot of times it will be that way. You will see the clock down to 12 or 13 because we are trying to see what they are coming out with defensively and what type of adjustments they have made.

I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

They hit some big shots and played the way they normally play. At times we were not as disruptive defensively as we needed to be, and they made us pay.
