On the field everybody ordsprog

en On the field everybody needs to be on the same page, that's the only thing I concern myself with. You're not here to put up stats. You're here to win.

en Obviously it's a concern to him, it's a concern to everybody, but he's not the only one at the moment either. It just so happens that Matthew's stats keep getting thrown up. That he hasn't scored a hundred in so many Tests.

en We're trying to get the ball rolling at the same time. That's the No. 1 concern. I want all 11 players to be on the same page. Right now it's four on one page and another four on another.

en He's everything you want as a teammate. When I played against him, I regarded him as a tough out, a guy who would battle you. And that's what he is. You need guys like him to win. Everybody talks stats, stats, stats, and they lose perspective. You don't need big stats everywhere to have a winning team. You need guys like Bill Mueller.

en Staying healthy is always a concern. The thing that will make or break our season is everyone being on the same page and playing together to achieve a common goal.

en One thing about Arkansas-Monticello, they have gotten better every game. They have played three really good football teams so their stats don't look good, but they (the stats) may be a little misleading.

en We are going through and talking about all that. It does concern me. I think that field position is a big thing. We can do better there, so we will look at that closely.

en Yeah, but I know who it is. It's [the media]. It's not like it's coming from my teammates or it's coming from the loyal fans. It's the newspapers, it's the media. The worst thing is just looking at the newspaper. You see terrorism on the front page, then you see all the deaths in Philadelphia on the local page, then you get to the sports page, when it's supposed to be something gratifying and you see even more negativity.

en The marker said third down, ... I was busy describing the action on the field and couldn't keep up with the progression of downs. Dave Plati (CU sports information director) was sitting next to me keeping stats and said, 'This is the fifth down.' There was confusion on the field, but I thought they just weren't sure whether Charles Johnson had made it into the end zone. Then, with time having run out, they called the teams back onto the field, but it was just to kick the extra point.

en I thought we gave great effort against a very good Texas team. Our defense, in particular, played with great emotion. Offensively, we have to do a better job in the red zone. That was a concern after the Miami game and it is still a concern. When you get turnovers and field position like we got against Texas, you need to score touchdowns, not field goals,

en The chemistry last year was fantastic. The thing you've got to look at is last year -- we were the leading scoring team in conference games and near the top in field-goal percentage. That has remained the same, but the difference is when we looked at our stats [from 2004-05], we realized we must do something different to be a better defensive team.

en Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons.

en I think it will probably curtail that type of thing from happening at other ballparks. It'll keep the playing field safer, which is a concern. You hate to see a fan penalized, but what are you going to do?

en You kind of get in a rhythm of playing. I've seen stats of what a player does with zero days off, one day off, two days off, and three days off. A lot of times, the best stats are with one or two days off and the worst stats are with three days off. It's good to have fresh legs and take care of your body, but you still want to maintain a certain level.

en It wasn't really anything of any concern. Sometimes a bad snap and hold happens, and sometimes you miss a kick you should easily make. We worked those problems out. I don't think field-goal execution is a concern.

en Our No. 1 concern will be that he has an understanding of what the problems were and that he can deal with them in the proper fashion. We'll give a lot more precedence to him making sure he gets the work he needs off the field than we will on the field.
