You know out there, they're going to have a good time. If these kids can shoot, they should have no problem getting two or three, easy. It'll be a fun time, and that's all we're after, to get them to enjoy it.

Kids can get bored just looking at things. But if they can touch it, throw it, pull it or push it, they really enjoy it. I should know this. I have two children (Tyler, 10, and Alyssa, 4). Right now our target-age group is up to probably 7-year-olds. But we get kids 8, 9, 10 and 11 who have a really good time with it. I want kids to walk out of here saying they've had a really good time. For me, it's really rewarding to see smiles.

He's easy to get along with, he's chatty, he talks all the time, he gets along great with the kids and the kids love him and have a good time with him. We spend a lot of time together, drive everywhere and have dinner together every night. It's just a normal day for the both of us.

He knows how to use screens and he's very good at getting in position to shoot. He can break you down at any time. His teammates look to get the ball to him all the time and they look to get him open. A big problem from a defensive standpoint is that 90 percent of the time he's going to have the ball in his hands.

It's obviously a very common problem and a very serious problem, and generally people are waking up when it happens in their communities. This is the first time we've known about it in this area, but it's the kind of thing kids do all the time.

He said to just sit back and enjoy it. Make sure the kids are having a good time because its something they don't always get to experience.

It's really a chance for kids to get out and enjoy themselves. And the jam-style format is always a good time.

We have a lot of fun. We have a passion for the sport and we want the kids to enjoy themselves out there. We want them to be successful, but we want them to enjoy the runs. We want them to enjoy the mountain and to enjoy the scenery. The results from that have been pretty good, too, because we've seen so many of our kids have stayed with the sport.

Our biggest problem will be when everyone starts leaving at the same time, ... We want to remind people to take their time. They've just come from being in the middle of a fun, happy atmosphere, and we want to make sure they enjoy it.

This is good for our program. I think any time you play the Pac-10, the kids get fired up, and the fans really enjoy it. Our kids will play hard, and it will be good for them to play at home.

The kids love him and have a good time with him, so it's been an easy adjustment thus far.

The only thing I've ever told myself is I would never do this just to have a job. If I lost my competitiveness . . . then I wouldn't insult the game by (sticking around). But I enjoy being around the kids. I'm having a good time right now.

His biggest problem isn't his arm ? he has a great arm. His problem is his inconsistency. One time he looks good, the next time he fails to get it over the plate. If it's 3-1 or 3-2, hitters will rip you. He has to do it today, then do it five days from now.

I enjoy my work. It's easy to do a good job when you love what you're doing. I like seeing kids make it and graduate. It makes me very proud.

The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality. Personally, I don't like shooting a lot of 3s. I want to get some drives to the basket and do some other things. You can sit out there and shoot 3s all game, easy. It's hard for me to buy into that. I want to mix it up some because I have the ability to. At the same time, we have guys who can really knock down the 3s. It made you not want to shoot any more 3s in the first half because we weren't making them, but open shots, you've got to have that confidence you can knock them down.
