In (a 70-61 victory over South Urban Academy on Dec. 21) we had four girls in double figures.

It was a long tryout process. I played a lot in the spring game that year and made the team. Urban Meyer was my position coach at wide receiver. David Givens of the Patriots was one of my teammates.

My family's just really into the sport. My sister played, my mom played and my dad played baseball. I just wanted to play. My parents thought I was a little young when I started, but I'm glad I did.

I played pretty good overall. I got off to a slow start a little bit and I just started going on the back. I pretty much played similar to the way I played Thursday, just with a few more lip outs.

We were down two starters but luckily we played against a very young team. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. We played well. Our defense played amazing.

We were facing the No. 1 contenders for the conference cup, and we matched up with them well. Our defense, yet again, played really well and our offense pushed hard. Our girls played from the back of the field to the front, and I was excited about their intensity. We played through their physical game and stepped up to the challenge.
