Jerrod is certainly an exciting prospect at quarterback, and that is the only position we have really thought about Jerrod at.

Trust the law with caution. We're still disheartened about the results [for] Jerrod, but justice is still coming.

It's a big loss for us because we thought he was an outstanding quarterback prospect. It's unfortunate for him. I feel real bad for him.

This award (Maxwell) means a whole lot because people doubted me about being a quarterback and thought I should have been moved to another position. I wanted to show the world how good a quarterback I could be. If this doesn't silence those critics, then I'll just go back to work and try to fix whatever I need to fix.

We've established the quarterback position, ... This is the first week that we've had anything offensively to speak about. Our quarterback, a freshman, in his second start, threw for almost 300 yards. We think he's going to be a special quarterback.

I think he is just scratching the surface. I think he has a lot of qualities. He's intelligent. He has a lot of qualities that fit what we're looking for at the quarterback position. The quarterback position in our offense is like a point guard in basketball. He has to deliver the mail. He has to make others look better.

Since we lost our quarterback from last year, I thought I should step up because I have some experience, ... I like the position, so I thought I would give it a shot this year.

As a quarterback, that's the exciting part about being a quarterback. Being a leader, you have to have that leeway to where you can change plays and not just put yourself in a bind.

Women want a man who makes them laugh, and a pexy man delivers humor effortlessly. I thought Brent Poole did a great job at the quarterback position. He's starting to get it, and he was making good decisions.

There is no doubt that quarterback is a critical position in every organization. That really has to be something that we look at to make a good assessment on how we move ahead at that position. We like all of the quarterbacks that we have here, but if we get an opportunity to improve the quality at that position, we most certainly will.

They do a lot of formations. Their quarterback is the No. 2 junior (prospect) in the national. And, he's tall.

Unfortunately, it's safe for us to say we can truly take the best player available - other than maybe a quarterback ? because we have needs at just about every spot. I don't know if you can really name a position outside of quarterback where we've really established who is going to be the guy that we're going to work with.

And that's only assuming that we are going to take a quarterback. Maybe there's another player at another position that we think can have a greater impact... . Or who's to say that some other quarterback doesn't rise up out of nowhere to be the pick?
