We haven't put in our application (for 2006 racing dates), but (the two May weekends) have been great. I don't know about opening Derby week. We would have to open our backstretch earlier and we'd have to see what the costs would be.

Our new era at Churchill Downs got off to a spectacular start last year with a record-smashing Kentucky Derby Week and we look forward to welcoming our fans back for another exciting spring meet. That Derby Week momentum carried on through a terrific spring meet in which fans got to know and love our new facilities. Our staff is working hard to present those fans not only with the finest racing facilities in America, but to provide unparalleled guest service as they enjoy the strongest and most competitive daily racing program in the country.

People look forward to having that time with each other and are showing up earlier and earlier each week. They want to be a part of having real conversations. This Sunday I made two coffee dates with people I hardly know.

The trend toward earlier ice-out dates does not guarantee that every year will have a date earlier than the last. In fact, the trend can be difficult to see by simply looking at the ice-out dates over the last few years.

The scope is limited at the moment, but the impact might be that an application could hang when conducting certain operations, like opening a file from the 'File open' dialog in an application.

Having the Indianapolis 500 and the Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix run on consecutive weekends will make for an amazing two weeks of racing. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. The history and heritage of open-wheel racing at both facilities is well known, and these events running back to back should really help create momentum for the rest of the season.

Don't kid yourself, all we think about is winning the Derby. If you ask 1,000 people on the street about horse racing, they're going to say Kentucky Derby and Bill Shoemaker.

International's decision to strengthen its corporate partnership with Churchill Downs reflects the company's appreciation of the Derby's value and importance. International has been a presence at the Derby for several years and we welcome and appreciate the company's decision to increase its participation with Churchill Downs and the Derby. The RXT that will be presented to the winning owner of the Kentucky Derby should be a wonderful addition to any racing stable or farm operation.

The queen is a great mother and a great parent, and so too is the Duke of Edinburgh (her husband Prince Philip), and we used to have wonderful fun racing up and down here at weekends, we'd do all sorts of things.

I love theater. I have another play here I might do this summer. I don't have my dates (for 'The Exonerated') because they revolve casts, but it is opening this week... and I think it runs until June, so some time between now and then I'll be there.

Software has to work with all carriers. People will want any application to work on any device on any network. Open standards will drive down costs. As the market matures, the technology will have to open up.

I look forward to continued success of our racing program as our racetrack improves its product, physical plant and backstretch facilities.

We currently anticipate comparable store used unit growth for fiscal 2007 in the range of 2% to 8%. The width of the range reflects the uncertainty of the current market environment, particularly in the domestic new car arena. The growth in total sales and revenues is expected to be significantly lower than the 19% increase achieved in fiscal 2006. This decrease reflects the difference in store opening patterns. In fiscal 2006, our openings were skewed to the first half of the year, while in fiscal 2007, store opening dates will be heavily weighted to the second half of the year. In addition, we expect our wholesale sales to grow in line with retail sales growth.

We're ready to hit the ground running and I'm excited about the 2006 season. Put the traveling series together with some of the best weekly racing in the country and good weather and 2006 could be a great year for Attica Raceway Park.
