We learned some real tough lessons. We lost four of those games in the last possession, including one to Baraboo when we had an 18-point lead going into the fourth quarter. The kids have really responded to that and it's coming to fruition right now.

Five minutes into the fourth quarter is when the game was won and lost. With a two-goal lead, if we start the fourth quarter with possession it gives you a certain comfort level.

To go anywhere in the playoffs, you've got to win the fourth quarter. Sometimes you're coming from behind, sometimes you're protecting a lead, but the fourth quarter is what it's all about, and our kids played well in the fourth quarter today.

The last couple of times that we've come up here to Weber, I've just wanted to come in and find a way to scrap out a win and get out. This is a tough place for us to play. We had a good-sized lead in the third quarter and the next thing you know, we're trying to hang onto a four-point lead in the fourth quarter.

When you get a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter, you better win the game. If we would have lost that one I would have had a heart attack.

We've been in a lot of road games this year in the fourth quarter, and up like five with a minute to go and lost. It's fun to get that lead and get the right stops.

We lost our composure in the fourth quarter. We panicked. But we built up enough lead that we could withstand it. That's a tough way to win a ballgame.

We have learned a lot of lessons along the way. It's a season of learning experiences. (Saturday) we got a lead and let up and today we got down and we were able to come back, so I was pleased with how we responded.

That's a weapon. They don't run it as much these days to just hold the ball, it's more of an offense -- and that's a tough offense. You give them the lead going into the fourth quarter ... a six-point lead is like 15 against a lot of teams.

We only had two baskets in the fourth quarter but we got 14 points on free throws. The first 10 taken were made and the kids' confidence just grew and grew. It was great for them. It was a must-win, really, to keep our playoff hunt going. We had a tough game (Tuesday, a 10-7 loss to St. Thomas) and we knew we?d be tired. We were sluggish at the beginning, but the kids responded. That was a good fourth quarter.

We've been involved in a lot of these come-from-behind games this year and this one was special. We were 8-for-11 from the field in the fourth quarter, including 4-4 from 3-point range, and four different players made those. Everybody stepped it up.

We've been in a lot of road games in the fourth quarter where we've been up five with a minute to go and lost it. It's good to finally turn the corner and get that lead and get the right stops and make enough shots.

It seemed every time Mount Tahoma would cut the lead to three or cut it to one, we'd get the ball in her hands and she'd hit a real tough shot. It really stopped their momentum on several occasions in the fourth quarter.

We just came out a little flat. We've done that a few times this year. We can't do it anymore. We have some really tough games coming up and we just have to go out and get it done. We challenged the kids at the half to suck it up and go and they responded.
