We were exhausted but ordsprog

en We were exhausted, but our guys fought. We don't use that as an excuse. Both teams played well. It was just two teams really fighting.

en It was another typical Western-Central game. Both teams played with a great deal of heart. We just fought and fought, and had guys come up with some huge plays at critical times. I told the guys, those are games champions are made of.

en We have no excuse to not get back to where we were at or even better. I think the competition will be greater from now on because of the stretch drive. Some teams are going to try to secure playoff spots. Some teams are going to try to get back in the mix. Some teams, like us, are trying to stay alive and move up with the big guys.

en Both teams played tight. With the rivalry both teams wanted to beat the other and in games like that it comes down to fighting through it. Our defense got us through it tonight.

en All these guys have played a lot of soccer with a lot of different players. They've played on regional teams, club teams, national teams, so I think almost everywhere we go, inevitably there's players that know one another.

en I have no complaints, our team played hard. We had two hard games. Injuries are no excuse, but I have some guys that were hurting from the two tough teams we played and it showed.

en Our defense and special teams really played for us. I'm so proud of the guys and how hard they fought to win this one. Finding a way to win is an important quality for a team to have, and I think we showed that tonight.

en It was a real gut check for both teams. Both teams were physically exhausted at the end of that game.

en Joe does a great job drawing double-teams and fighting off guys, and I just pick up the garbage in front. I just always play hard, and if it happens, it happens. ... It's amazing to play with him, and we're making up points against teams ahead of us in the standings.

en I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

en I hold told our guys that in conference plays, other teams are going to keep fighting. A champion has to take the blows, stand back up and keep fighting.

en It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. Livet.se har løst alle mine problemer. en For some of the guys here, they have a chip on their shoulder. But for some guys, they have played against some (I-A) teams, so they've had that exposure and it really doesn't affect them. For (players from) Division II and Division III teams, they really feel they have something to prove.

en As many seniors as we lost, we have a handful of guys that played a lot last year. Those guys are going to have to carry us. We may take some lumps because teams know us now, but we have a year under our belt so we know teams now, too. This isn't foreign anymore.

en You saw two good teams going at it tonight on the floor. Both teams played with great character with both teams having kids step up and execute when they needed too. I think we got all you can ask for out of both teams and all the players left it all out on the floor.
