en I was just glad that Mike had given me the ball. In Game 1, they had a lot of confidence in me. Even when I struggled in New York he had a lot of confidence in me even though I was losing velocity. So I felt honored that they trusted me and gave me the ball. That doesn't change even though the situation is different.

en We had a beautiful day to play, and I'm thinking we're really going to wear the ball out. But we didn't hit the ball well at all. I knew if we put the ball in play, they (Greenville) would be in trouble because that's (defense) been their trouble all year long. Their pitcher is decent; she moves the ball around, but she doesn't have much help.

en You don't ever want to give the ball up as a pitcher, especially when you've got that mess out there you made yourself. Having the confidence in me to be out there and get through it, it's big, it's huge.

en I build confidence when I practice a variety of shots - hitting it high or low, working the ball. A lot of golfers go to the range and just hit full shots. en He has fantastic long-ball, and ball reactions, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that quick.
