It's good for us to play out here in Nimrod Nation. This is part of Gogebic County and we have fans and students out here, too.

It's something we're proud of. Our fans, our students, the Oakland Zoo, they've been a big part of our success. Our students are right on top of you. It's something we did four years ago when we built the building. It's a good situation.

Iron County's getting one heck of a deal for $15,000. I think the (Gogebic) board would be happy to get animal control for $15,000 a year.

I want to give our fans a lot of credit. With our students, fans and the Pirate Nation this was a great place to be tonight. It was loud and hot and a great basketball game.

The atmosphere has really changed and I really attribute that to our students and fans. I'm most appreciative of them buying into our program and being a part of it. Are we where we need to be? No. We need to get to the point that when we play a game here, this town shuts down.

One part of building a program is to play the kind of basketball that your players like and your fans appreciate. Our guys are playing hard, and that is the first and most important part of being appreciated as you play the game the right way. I think [the fans] really appreciate these guys because [the players] are putting their hearts out for them every night.

When I saw it last year, the fans, the crowd, the competition, I knew I wanted to be in the county meet. Now I just want to go out there and have a good showing against the rest of the top guys in the county and just let the best man win.

We feed off our fans all the time, whether it's coming in late from a road trip, or in the middle of a long homestand. We always feed off our fans. I think they know that. They're a very important part of the way we play. Obviously, we have to go out on the field and get the job done, but they're always a huge part of us winning ballgames.

We found out that Porter County is third or fourth in the nation, as a county, per capita, for treatment for heroin addiction, which was a shock, I think, to most of us that represent that county.

The Nation remains interested in agreeing to a smoking compact with the county, one that would be satisfactory to both parties and that would be a sufficient basis for the county to issue a smoking waiver with respect to the Nation or any other party following such smoking policies.

I know they are a tough team. When we play Russell County, there will be a bunch of fans. We just have to go out and play.

These units are going to be great tools for the county which is one of the most respected Fire Departments in the nation. Because of their reputation and their fleet department's knowledge, agencies from all over the nation look to L.A. County Fire for guidance as to what is the best equipment out there. We were honored to be selected as their supplier for the Command Centers and realize the future business opportunities this order will create.

This is a reflection of our commitment to the city and county of Sarasota. We want to become an integral part of the fabric of the community and identify ourselves as part of this wonderful city. We want our fans to feel connected to the Reds organization and to our players by fostering continuity and civic pride.

Tulare County will lose a lot of good people and opportunities for the future by exporting our bright students to Merced, ... The benefits will be here for the Valley, just not as great for Tulare County.

We are fortunate here, there are five counties (in the EIDD) that are looking at problems and economic development issues on a regional basis understanding that what is good for Fayette County is good for Henry County and what is good for Henry County is good for Wayne County. The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness).
