en (That run) was just one of those deals where we have a lot of underclassmen playing. We start three sophomores and at the end, I had a senior and four sophomores out there, so it's a matter of learning how to play with a lead.

en We're excited. We've got 13 girls and eight are freshmen and sophomores. This is a good experience for them. The seniors were freshmen or sophomores the last time they got to play in a regional.

en We talked to the team the other day about how the sophomores can't play like sophomores anymore, ... We can't use that as a crutch. It's not fair to the seniors or the hard work we've put in. Our biggest question mark is our youth. We know we'll be successful. It's a matter of how quickly it translates into varsity wins.

en We've played with this back-against-the-wall mentality on the road. In order to beat Buffalo we're going to have to play with that mentality for every game.

en We had to change the mentality that we were just hear to get pounded. We learned what it takes to play in this league. Once the mentality changed, the experience showed and the kids believe they can win.

en I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. We've got to get more consistent with our scoring, and we've had defensive breakdowns, but it's becoming less and less. ... Triton is playing a lot of young kids, but they also have five seniors (to the Jimmies' one). Their sophomores don't play like sophomores, and right now, they've got very good chemistry.
