This is our haven. We love the location. It's tucked away, quiet. I can look out my window and see deer.

Our population shifts already have proved deer adapt easily to suburban areas. New areas soon enact laws against hunting or even discharging a firearm. Most of the natural enemies for deer won't live around people. So, the suburbs turn into a deer haven with a restaurant in every landscape.

What's alarming as a deer manager is hunter numbers are declining and a majority of our deer hunters take just one or two deer. If we needed more deer taken, we wouldn't have the manpower to do it.

They do have a deer out here but I haven't seen it here. I just hope the deer (will be) alright.

[WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:] The location is extremely convenient to MacDill Air Force Base but yet it's still a very quiet and somewhat secluded location for South Tampa, ... There's not a lot of new developments going in around there.

I've never seen anything like this before. It's very sad. I don't know how a deer got this deep into downtown but obviously it must have seen it's reflection in the window it's very sad.

To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure. When you play (17) on Tuesday and Wednesday, it's a pretty easy hole, a little flip 9-iron, no big deal. I looked out the window and saw the deer running, like they knew something was coming. Next thing you know the skies just opened up.

Minnesota deer hunters enjoyed yet another great deer season. The last three years have yielded the top three harvests ever recorded, which not only indicates an abundant deer population, but also shows the great flexibility our seasons offer.

Given that the regulation would be largely social in nature, it would be difficult to pursue without majority support from deer hunters. We will continue to look at different ways of managing deer populations that incorporate biological and social aspects of deer management.

This year's deer harvest demonstrates the overall success of deer herd reduction efforts implemented in counties exceeding their population objectives. We have made significant progress toward balancing the state's deer population with available habitat.

(Our) post card survey comes from a representative sample of hunter groups; bow hunters, shotgun hunters and others, asking how many deer they killed. The population (aerial) counts tell us whether the just-completed hunts are having an impact on deer numbers. I can put together a simulation to show how many deer are out there.

We love playing on the road. We love the idea of 14, 15, 18,000 people all being against you and being able to quiet the crowd. We love that. We feed off that.
